  1. The crank is not snaped as it i had a 200tdi and the pully had some right movment on it when i striped it it had snapped about an inch and half from the end
  2. I had sort of the same problem and mine was because the diesel pump timming was out a little.
  3. when i had striped mine down the cv did not look bad at all but once replaced the clicking stopped.
  4. yes the cv comes out with the 1/2 shaft then just tap it off,rcv are pritty good for parts rcvdoncaster.co.uk.It should look some thing like the picture when striped
  5. It should be an AEU2522 if the last owner did not change the axle,the way i did it was to find the axle number its on the left hand side on the top of the axle near the the brether pipe,I did mine the other day to say i have never done one it was walk int the park took about an hour and half
  6. if for some reson the headlamps are ok is there any other earths i could check

Afternoon all,I seem to have found yet again another problem with my 90, when i put full beam on the left hand side head light goes dim, I have cleaned the earth that is behind the head light and also the earth from the battery to the chassis and its still the same any one have an idea Thanks Dale

  13. hello people i have a Defender 90 1984 what as been rebuilt using an early 200tdi defender,and i am having trouble finding which cv joint kit and halfshaft i need as they seem to go on chassis number i do not have time to take to bits to find which on it is so is there another way of finding out cheers
