  1. Just like Western says, the pipe can be cut in half and you fit a t piece in and thats it.
  2. Inherently land rovers do have a lot of play in the drive line, end float in the diff, splines at each end of drive shafts and a cv joints in the swivel hub. Then you have the prop with a splined slider and 2 uj's befor you get to the centre diff in the transfer box. Either get a someone qualified to look at it or compare it with another for starters. Also worn bushes in the front and rear tie bars can add to drive line shunt.
  3. You could probably fit a soft top truck cab with series 2 doors.
  4. Sounds like a worn transfer box, could be the shaft from the box to the transfer case!
  5. Oil leak is probaly crankshaft oil seals, hole in gearbox should have a bung in it if you go in deep water. For normal driving leave bung out.
  6. Spray all the nuts with WD40, slackoff the bolts n try n lift the door. With a hammer if you like, but use a wood block. good luck!
  7. Are you driving the vehicle with the difflock in for a long distance?
  8. It is very important that you have the con rods checked, they normaly bend.
  9. Mike's (above) 1 ton wheels he has for sale are the corect wheel for a 1 ton 109, deep dish 5 stud 6.5". I bought the 4 wheels and tyres off him and i'm well pleased. I think Mike still has more wheels for sale.
  10. The higher gearing at the diff does req a bit more effort to drive. Its like fitting taller tyres.
  11. Change the bearing and seal for now B)
  12. Its nice! and the pipe dia is 2 1/4". It still looks new after a year.
  13. Its a good bet its the fuel pump and filter
