Phil, The IRB cooler is bigger by a couple of inches. Told you it was massive. Also has a denser more efficent core to it. One thing that I noticed between the Allisport one is that I didn't need to drill any holes to fit, but I did have to space out the slam panel diagnols (the two bars that run down from the slam panel/bonnet latch to the chassis) It's fine though, you just need to space them forward slightly with supplied spacers.

Hi there, after having some work carried out on my Defender TD5, the owner of BAS (Bell Auto Services) told me to steer clear of putting it in my TD5. One of his customers was in the previous week having a full set of injectors replaced in his. Just my 2p, mind you, I dont even put in Supermarket fuel. Shell Diesel extra all the way. Isn't bio diesel really aimed towards previous models such as a 200 tdi that aren't as modern. My audi A4 avant says "Nicht fur biodiesel" too. Both relatively modern engines. I've had my TD5 since 2004 and to date this is my initial route (in order) for getting more grunt from my Td5 was the following: 1) K&N filter 2) Mid box stainless steel replacement pipe 3) EGR removed At this point the TD5 was a tad more spritely. Greater clean air sucked into the combustion chamber due to the EGR removal and K&N. More mid range pull due to the replacement pipe. 4) Stage 1 remap 5) Stage 2 (Intercooler + silicon hoses) as I later leaned that with a stage 1 remap the Exhaust gases increase in temp. Adding the intercooler reduces them and gains more grunt. Win win purchase 6) SOLD the performance parts when I thought I was going to sell the 90..... 7) PURCHASED new Stage 2 gear from Porny at IRB and Im back to square 1
