110 side windows - what are the options?
markt replied to daveturnbull's topic in Defender Forum (1983 - 2016)
2. Find some windows that side open, and can fit 2 of down each side for maximum visibiity. I know they exist as have seen them on other 110's, and I know they are not the standard 110 SW windows, or TC rear windows. Anyone know what they are from / where to find them? Liveridge 4x4 supply & fit them to their 3 door 109/110 van conversions. www.liveridge4x4.com/Refurbs Fitted to my 110 Dormobile conversion. -

Hi, i've tried the transfer box in high & low ratio's, the noise is still the same Gearbox & t/fer box in neutral coasting, no noise just looking for idea's as it seems like a lot of work to change the T/box only to find out it is the gearbox !! cheers, Mark

Hi, i am looking for some advice on a noisy transmission on a 95/96 defender 110 csw, There is a loud whine in all the gears when driving which goes when the clutch is depressed,is this gearbox or the transfer box The vehicle has been off the road for a couple of years & was ok when it was last used ( ie no transmission noise ) & the oil levels are both correct, The fact that it is noisy in all gears suggests to me that it is the transfer box not the gearbox. Any advice / suggestions from anyone, Cheers, Mark

Hi, can anyone tell me where the wiper control unit is located on a 95/96 Defender 110 ? Cheers, Mark B)

B) I got this about 4 years ago, It's made from 5/6 mm thick steel chequer plate with a hardened security padlock It fits onto the brake pedal & covers all three pedals making driving impossible
