  6. I can confirm the vent hinges hole were a tad of a hassle to say the least to get clear. Also the bolt holding the angle iron across the bottm lets, one came out ok, the other sheared off, but drifted out ok. All other holes had to be re-drilled to allow the bolts to pass though or be re-tapped
  7. Seem to remember Chris it needs to go in a certain way as the arm catches on the side of the tank or sumfink, been a while since I did mine
  8. You can if you get the NS and OS the wrong way round as they would be upside down ! I'm sure some of they are handed and there is an angle on them it might be the bottom one cant remember http://www.johncraddockltd.co.uk/land-rover-defender/defender-90-and-110/parts/body-and-fittings/door-locks-handles-and-hinges/bdb710200-hinge-top-rh-front-door-from-wa138480.html http://www.johncraddockltd.co.uk/land-rover-defender/defender-90-and-110/parts/body-and-fittings/door-locks-handles-and-hinges/bdb710210-hinge-top-lh-front-door-from-wa138480.html http://www.johncraddockltd.co.uk/land-rover-defender/defender-90-and-110/parts/body-and-fittings/door-locks-handles-and-hinges/bdb710220-door-hinge-rh-lower-2001-onwards.html http://www.johncraddockltd.co.uk/land-rover-defender/defender-90-and-110/parts/body-and-fittings/door-locks-handles-and-hinges/bdb710230-hinge-door-left-hand-lower-2001-on.html

  11. Flippin eck 10 years already.......took me that long to build my last one lol. and still no dents
  12. As many know I got dis-heartned several times, but then I'm a fussy git and had to do it right which took even longer govened by funds mainly, and then time. I did what Simon suggested made a list of everything which needed doing, this can make it look worse at first !, but ticking them off make it look better, did a little bit every night quick and easy jobs and the bigger jobs over the weekend. and I did have to force myself to get and do it, but the end was worth it. Years ago I would have spent every minuite I could trying to get it built, but this one I made it secondary to life in general.
  13. When I did the SVA it was 2 seats only and a certain size load bed for carrying goods

  20. Bowie - Fluid is clean clean with no discouloration or sludge
  21. I'll give that a try tomorrow, as I said mines on the outer hole this would give it a huge amount of movement compared to the inner hole
  22. Checked the cable all is ok you can feel it going into the kick downposition. Miles since fluid and filter change, 600 perhaps, I have done one fluid change since, given I thought the new fluid might dilodge some gunk so intended on changing it a few times to be on the safe side. Now I'm on the outer most hole of the kickdown bracket which as in further out from the pivot point gives the greatest movement of the kickdown cable.which could be making the box think i'm on fullthottle all the time ? perhaps the bracket has moved, although I seem the remember it had locating pins ! Has anyone a pic of a 200tdi kick downset up for me to compare loactions of against Pulling away slowly from a stand still it all seems to shift properly, when I pull away to get up to speed it get to 25 its doing 3k revs and nothing shifts up ? Reverse again is all fine
