  3. Posted on the AULRO forum this is what you find in your engine bay in Brisbane It was only a friendly python (null)
  4. Nah this is a slammed Landy (null)
  5. Nige Hi-tough still do aerospace stuff They took over from Maxi Drive and bought up all Mals stuff. Barry who runs Hi-Tough used to work for Mal. They are across the road from where Maxi Drive use to be. On the Gold Coast I have bought a set and sent some to Jules in the past. (null)
  6. Sweat and then do what , lose weight :-) Could have a point my garage can get up to 40+ degrees in the middle of summer. I know in the uk to take a wet car from the road into a garage still wet is bad for a car As the car will rust more But don't really have rust here (null)
  7. Mine both live in a garage But that is because of the sun fade and blistering the paint, and to keep the cars cool (null)
  8. Nah John I was meaning they say the cars are better than land rovers mmm well how little they know :-)
  9. Mm you have never driven a Toyota and Nissan then as they have the same. And they say they are better than land rovers
  10. Totally agree. Quite a few of them here in Brisbane but the roads are bigger and the car park spaces are bigger generally here. Would find it a bit difficult to drive around the uk. Ali
  11. Hi Just did mine on my RRC. I had a leek from the front diff nose and I got the diff seal and undid the prop and took out the spilt pin and took of the bolt and replaced the seal and put the bolt back on and split pin back on. With no special tools and took no times at all.
  12. Hi Try this lot http://www.packsend.com.au They are all over Australia and will send all over the world I am in Aus so I use them to ship stuff around Aus Ali
  13. I have mine on the bull bar This is a pic of my 110 but my 90 has its ariels in the same place
  14. I have one of these tanks in my 300tdi 110. They are great and worth the money. The tank sits under the front drivers seat and with a switch on the dash changes the tank from the rear to the front. At the same time it change the original dash fuel gauge over to the level in the tank you are using at the time. Only cost $1400 ( about £900). Here is my 110 , you can see just the tank Under the drivers side.
  15. Yeah I had the same problem No one wanted mine and they were all the Landy mags back to the beginning Now I get as many mags as I can on my iPad so I don't have mags hanging around my house
  16. Stick with the BFG I have had a few different makes and still in my mind nothing beats the BFG. I drove 25,000 miles off road around Aus on BFGs with no problems and the Tyres are still on the truck Get good grip on and off road and good milage out of a set So may be a bit more expensive but worth it
  17. I have a second tank in the back of my 300tdi 90 A few things to say to get over the problem you have mentioned To fill up the rear tank I have a Y bit of tube from the original filler that if you fill up to the right it fills the front tank and to the left fills the rear tank. So I only have one fuel filler. As for getting the fuel. I have a switch on the dash and a V 8 fuel pump which when the front tank is empty then you turn on the pump and pump the fuel from the rear tank to the front tank. goes in to the return pipe on the front tank. And as you drive along you watch the fuel gauge go up as the front tank is filled See easy Ali
  18. That depends if you were earning dollars or pounds I think your find a new one cheaper in Aus at the moment than the Uk :-)
  19. Pretty much on every street corner here :-)
  20. I used to have a Brooklyn 4x4 wheel cover that was on my 35" simex on the back door of my 90 So they are made bigger than standard
  21. Pretty much see more 130's than 110 here in Aus
  22. I was thinking that pic looks like it was taken opposite the shop at Laura
  23. Hi Shame you did bit make is to the cape as it is a nice place But you seemed to have a nice trip of Qld. But it is a big place. I live in Brisbane but I am a sale rep and my area is Qld ( which is 7 times the size of the Uk). And drive to cairns all the time. But you are right it is the land of toyotas Hope you come back and have some fun again. May be catch up with the many land rover clubs in Australia. Have you checked out AULRO which is an Aussie land rover forum. They can help you with anything around Aus. Always a helpful bunch
