  1. Lotus had a 5th injector on the Esprit too.
  2. On air suspension, at that Only thing that was (and still is) an issue there is the transfer box motor.
  3. Damn, that's more than we spent going to Ladoga
  4. Doesn't seem quite right, the RRC 300TDi with BW box has a different (front?) length from the D1 300TDi with LT230.
  5. Can't be long. I can just imagine the A&E conversation too. "What'd you do this time?" "Well, I thought it was a good idea to build my own power tool..."
  6. Yeah, here there's still the retarded law that the station's shop must be open when the pump is active. You don't even need the attendant, as everything is pay by card anyway. Infuriating, and starting to get off topic now...
  7. Yup, annoying on sundays though Unless you can find a pump on the motorway.
  8. Well, I'll take it over any of LR's mechanical diesel offerings any day. A TDV6/8 of course is a different story... But really, it fits, the rest of the components can handle it, and it's adequate power for what the average LR driver wants to do with it. Stuffing in a high-revving Jap lump just seems like a horrible idea, I drive like a retard and am not that high up in the rev range all that much. Do you really need 9k RPM in an LR? An LS or something is nice, but really not a much more modern design. They have more power, yes, but also drink quite a bit, and parts availability outside the US is horrendous!
  9. Exactly my experience, fine in the dry, but scary in the rain if you're not expecting it. Mine are 265/75R16 at 2.5 bar on a P38.
  10. NY606041L [ nyloc - UNF - hexagonal head - 3/8 ]
  11. Quite right, and BFG ATs aren't very grippy on the road in my experience...
  12. Did you check it at flex? The spring moves a fair bit with the panhard.
  13. http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/how-to-make-a-wifi-antenna-out-of-a-pringles-can-nb/
  14. Feed the relay a permanent positive and ground it through the switch.
  15. Eh, not quite no Reading machine code is pretty hard, and even harder when it's a complex system such as a modern engine ECU. As for the technical difficulties, IIRC from the previous thread it was something with high voltages and multiple injections per compression stroke?
  16. That's this one from the LR4x4 group buy: And they're sturdy too, it survived a collision with a beet trailer last week (unlike the rest of the components around it).
  17. That's exactly what I did, and it works fine.
  18. Quite bright (and it was aimed too low here):
  19. Because it works the wrong way around. It lets through current when the level is OK.
  20. Those sound awesome. I'd actually consider putting up a tree if I could hang those in it
