I'm just really trying to find out if anybody has ever heard of some sort of adaptor that will allow me to use the original mounts. That way I can still fit a 300tdi when I get hold of one. Just a thought.

Does anybody know if it's possible to fit any pre 300 engine to a 300 chassis without cutting/welding? I've been offered a galv chassis but haven't got the right engine for it. My intention is to fit what I've got then when I can afford a 300tdi I'll fit that.
