  1. Just wait for it and the 4x4 will get more expensive.
  2. Hi there, Well I'm from Holland and I buy a lot through Eb.y.co.uk. But maybe it is for you cheaper to buy through this one: http://www.jansenusedlaroparts.com/user/onderdelen/freelander/index.html You should look under: verlichting Good luck.
  3. Ow sorry. Then I can't help you. Good luck, and if you found out please post it here.
  4. Well we just came back from holiday in France. My 2005 Freelander Td4 did well for over 3.000km until we finished our lunch on our way back. When I used the key fob, the doors unlocked. I put the key in the ignition all lights on the dash went on, the radio did it, but I could not start the engine. My windows and alarmlights etc. did it but it was like the immobiliser was not set off. We looked into the manual, and yes, my wife was right. The key fob had to be synchronised again with the car. You do that by quickly pushing 5 times on one of the buttons on your key fob and do that close to your car. We drove off, we stopped for diesel no problems, we drove 50 meters to park the car for a quick stop and when we wanted to leave, same story again. Now I'm back and haven't got the problem but changed the batteries in the key fob. Perhaps this is helpfull for your problem. Good luck.
  5. Hello people, Because of this forum and others. Yesterday I've changed the crankcase filter for the BMW Filter. I share some pics with you: First take a Freelander. This is the BMW part with number 11127799224. Around euro 40,--. Sorry I'm Dutch This is how the Land Rover Filter looked. I drove about 60.000km with it, but I don't know if it was changed before. The car is from 2005, I have it sinds 2008 and drove 60.000km with it. The diffrence between the Land Rover filter and the BMW filter. It was not neccessary to make an adjustment to place the filter in my 2005 Td4.
  6. There will be a market for this one, but I also think it is not done. However in an era where there are 4 drs Porsches. TVR is owned by Russians, Land Rover in the hands of TATA. Bentley owned by Germans and builds a Continental GT Design Series China and a Flying Spur Speed China forthe China market. Well, than there must be room for a FWD Land Rover.
  7. I have a 2005 Td4 with about 145.000km on it. It drinks about 8,4 ltr/100km I think that is about 29mpg. I drive 35km to work and 35km back on the motorway. Also important to check your tyre pressure regualary.
  8. Nice job. Looks good.
  9. +1 http://upmyphoto.com/img/image.php?image=frh_420105_images_7032_191826_loc.jpg"
  10. In september 2009 there were replies about the front light guards.
  11. Look at your post from september 2009 http://forums.lr4x4.com/index.php?showtopic=46779
  12. I also have the cheap ones from ebay for about a year now. Still fine. Looks better than the originals. Maybe when neeeded to change look for Bosch. Depends on lifetime these ones. Cheers, Harry
  13. Hi, my 2005 Td4 has not got one. I know there is a climate control unit for the 2004 - 2006 models. Otherwise I was thinking of an unit like this one: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Carpoint-In-Out-Car-Thermometer-Inside-Outside-Temps_W0QQitemZ310192478161QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item4838e997d1 do not know where to place the outside temp sensor though?
