I'm looking to retrofit the earlier hydraulic ZF trans dipstick to my DII's electronic ZF trans (non-dipstick). Does anyone happen to have the part number for the trans sump, and dipstick assembly?
I recently purchased a convex heated mirror from this very same ebay outfit. I will say the mirror itself is the WORST I have ever seen. my previous convex mirror (which broke) was very clear without blurring on the outside edges. For whatever reason, the convex mirror from these guys is not clear (can't think of any other way to explain) and anything viewed is definitely not uniform (when you take the "convex" effect out of this.
Anyway, I recommend finding someone else. I'm attempting to find another one as well.
Can anyone tell me how the early wash/wipe switch is wired (pinouts)? I'm installing a dash pod and switching from switchable wiper/washer to the early style rotating/push in wiper/wash knob.
Pic enclosed of the switch on the left (don't remember the part number).
Any help here appreciated.
Does anyone have experience running one of these on biodiesel? Specifically a B20 mixture? I wanted to put a D2 hyrdronic air heater in, but read in the manual that they don't cover bio above a 5% mixture. Which has me wondering if that is just covering their butt or is it really a problem. I have to think the truckers and such that use these are running bio with them...
You can galvy a 90 bulkhead, seen it here many times and plan to do the same myself in the next year. The important thing is not to let the shop quench the metal in a bath after being in the galvy dunk tank. It has to air dry. Otherwise, the thin metal of the bulkhead will warp from the rapid change in temps.
So does a td5 bulkhead match up to a v8 bulkhead with auto? That's my big question...
Thanks folks. I am striking out with Maplins and autosparks. I PM'ed a few of you to see if I can't get a hold of the "junk" ones you have. Let me know.
Very frustrating not being able to track this down.
Thanks guys, yup, this is from the back of the wiring loom for the lights on the warning lamps below the gauges.
Western, I'll check Autoparts, thank you for the link. I'd hate to ask you to post that to me from overseas!
