  1. No the brakes are not spongy just wondered if there may be some issue with front rear bias - bled all round last year with pressurised bleed kit - all fluid clear and no air bubbles, replaced rear pipes and all bleed nipples. Not fitted rear disc guard since thats how i noticed the inner rear disc not scrubbing clean.
  2. Recently fitted new front prop but now noticed a rumbling noise when taking foot off the gas - any ideas?? Also rear pads don't seem to be scrubbing inside of rear discs but had them off last year to cleam etc and re-bled Are these common issues its a 1998 Def 90 300tdi
  3. Have driven Dead Mans hill in the past in my 90 but rode it a few weeks ago and its very cut by 4x4's. This is a key route linking some great Lanes. It was repaired by some 4x4 club in the past who did a great job working with Yorkshire Water to keep this route open. Anyone know who organised? - think it needs some more attention to avoid the anti's using it against us. Rest of the route is fine, needs a bit of stone and a digger to scrape back and maybe a bit of fencing. If a work party could be set up when the weather clears this would help stop YDNP putting a TRO as they did Mastiles. Happy to help but would like to see if those that repaired before are still around and willing to give it another go? Ta
  4. Ive a 1998 Defender 90 hardtop and the 20A fuse 2 has blown (keeps blowing), should only power aux stuff but I've tried checking the headlamp dip switch, horn, trailer lights and they work - so think it may be a short in the wiring? Does anyone know if there are any places to check first before I pull the dash out to trace? Should the the trailer signals lamp on the dash flash when the hazards are on - most cars I've had only flash this if tralier is plugged in but mine does it witout? I've download the wiring diagrams and hope someone who knows Landies better then me can help? Cheers
