  1. Disco 1 94 Tdi 200 210k klm No ARB's when bought it handled badly on the road shockies worn and the springs had sagged. Fitted a 2" lift with replacement shockies and springs with poly air bags in the rear. It now handles great on the road and has excellent travel off road. I have a video some where I'll have a go at attaching it.
  2. Thanks for the replies. Also sorry a few more facts may help, we bought the Tdi200 1993 and did not realise there were no anti-roll bars, the springs and shocks were worn and had dropped, these were replaced with a 2" lift set of springs and shock absorbers to suit. The handling on road and articulation off road is excellent. Some here in Aussie have said that the 200Tdi were not fitted with anti-roll bars but this is not much use in the event of an accident and insurance inspection. So I was hoping to find out the facts and not sure how to go about it. Cheers
  3. My Tdi200 would not start it was an earth lead down to the chassis below and behind the starter, look good until it was touched then the lead fell away from the terminal Good Look
  4. Were any of the early Discos supplied without Anti Roll Bars/Sway Bars if so how do I find out up to what chassis number. Thanks
  5. 1994 Disco Tdi 200, I have been told that the early Discos were not fitted with Anti Roll Bars front or rear is this true? Is there a record of chassis numbers when LR started fitting ARB's. Our Disco has all the axle lugs and body brackets to fit the ARBs, so they have either been removed or not fitted at manufacture. My main concern is original equipment and insurance the handling is surprisingly good 2" lift with polyair bags in the rear. Thanks
  6. I had a similar problem with a Tdi200 Manual Disco the earth strap from the starter to the body looked OK until I rattled it and the braid separated from the crimp terminal. Replaced the strap and all was happy in Disco world! For a little while anyway.
