Hi i had this with my td4 and it turned out to be corroded or bad connections to the solenoid and starter motor i removed them all cleaned them all with emery paper and applied vaseline and i had no problems since P.S you need to remove the sump gaurd to get to the starter easier Good luck Gordon

Hi Guys New to the forum and have asked this question on other forums and got no replies so i am hoping you can help me my dads td4 2001 my had the following problem management light came on and it started running rough and cutting out i replaced the in tank fuel pump and also the under bonnet fuel pump and it now runs like a dream "problem sorted" but the only remaining problem is that the engine management light is still on how do i reset the light any ideas would be gratefully recieved Many thanks Gordon Ps Good forum well impressed with the knowledge you guys have look forward to hopefully helping out here too
