Fridgefreezer --Ralph: I quite like being described as "extremely illegal"
just don't turn ORANGE
-
looks good, But extremely illegal for UK road use without flares to cover the tread areas.

Dave Robinson of the LDNP (Trails advisor) is definetely not anti 4 x 4 or 110s it's just the tight corners at the top that have been scrabbled around for too long and the surface break up lets the water in and away it goes. There will be a repair party from Glass, Crag, TRF etc probably later in the year, I drive a 110 so agree it seems unfair but there are lots of other routes maybe not as spectacular but quite good.
This type of damage is endemic in the LDNP especially now the Bobblies use those f'ing useless poles, they are absolutely wrecking the paths and all the recent heavy rain has now caused gullies to be formed all over the place. But the Bobblies will just complain and never seem to help with repairs, unlike the party of bikers from TRF, Mountain Bikers and Landy owners who did a huge job for LDNP on the UCR in Grizedale ealier in the year. The stupid thing was none of the repairing groups had made any complaint about the state of the road but the Bobblies were up in arms about the "puddle" there is a more detailed report on the repair on Mud Club forum.
The biggest problem with any green road trail driving is that the Bobblies think they own LDNP and can dictate to all other users, must be cos Miss Gobby has a house up here I believe.
Cheers Chris for the explanation, I doubt I'll ever get to drive that route or any other in the Lake District area.

You could always get a 90 Ralph
Mo
Never like my 110 far to much.

more info on OME SD here

OME (Old Man Emu) one is good kit.
-
That'd be a PULSE ambulance then, the rear axle is a 2nd Generation RR derivative, strengthed with the under axle tube webs.
-
I think you would be unwise doing that, if you want the engine/other parts then claim the car as salvage then scrap the remains once you've got the parts off you want to keep.
-
I'd suspect the relay (flasher unit) is sticking, a quick swap with a known good one would confirm.
-
Seam sealer purpose made for car bodies would do the job.
-
go for the complete unit, Ashcrofts R380's are top kit, I got one in my 110 at the present & it's a pleasure to drive with.
-
i saw a complete Td5 instument pack on ebay a few hours ago, it had a few days to run.
-
further, over the last few days thid tank has been give 2 good coats of Galvafroid paint to help it survive life under a 110, also the stone guard to tank will be coated with a fuel resisant compound, this will keep out any unwanted moisture & crud.

Nice thread Les

neat solution for showing lights off.
-
Yep, I agree, these are a pain when you need to explain something.
-
Thing is the circuit diagram doesn't show the connections at the column switch end, just a big circle representation of the coloumn switches, so it wouldn't be of much help.
here's a Defender circuit diagram
-
Cheers Luke I knew you were the man to confirm it
-
I see, that makes sense, but it would have been better for the LDNP to explain the reason better, rather than let 110/longer WB vehicle owners think their being discriminated against.

Got mine from Plowman's years ago & still haven't got round to fitting them. probaly your best bet to get the plowman's kit, everything in it you need to fit.
found this guy on ebay heated mirror element kit his e.mail address is within the advert text, should be worth a e.mail to find if he's got anymore kits for sale.
