The white needs to go to be ignition controlled feed [straight off the back of ignition switch is a good start] there should be some white wires connected there just use a piggyback spade terminal.
I don't have Discovery 200Tdi wiring info/diagrams so can't help with the rest.

Defender 200Tdi should have the 88 degree thermostat as should the Discovery version of the same engine, could be your supplier is getting the older Turbo Diesel confused with the 200Tdi, the older engine could have a 82 or 88 degree thermostat depending on it's home country.
fit the 88 degree & go from there. my 200Tdi is 13 years old & has always had the 88 fitted, I did experiment with a 82 for a while but decided to stick with the 88.
both 200Tdi use different lower thermostat housing that the temp sender fits into. that would most likely explain why the defender temp sender won't screw in, must be a different thread.

I can have a look in EPC but need the axle serial number prefix --- i.e. 20L

Well I've got the speedo, now just to find the transducer part

the good light switch fails again, mine did a similar trick but just wouldn't put the headlights on dip beam at all, new switch cured it

The shotgun stowage box would be a good strong item, IIRC it's mountings attach to the floor & the bolts fit from inside the box, I'm not sure if it's designed to fit in one specific location [between wheel arches] or can be fitted to the top of the left or right wheelarch inside the loadbay, also I think it has a foam lining fdesigned for 1 or 2 shotguns, so that wouldn't work very well with a camera, be best to get the accesorries brochure from the dealers.

There's still a few with just ...... left in
Not anymore, they've been sorted

that looks awful, much prefer Si's X-brake, easy to fit & use.

I've probly posted this on the wrong forum really cos the engine's from a disco, and it's all a bit different again, but I think there is a bit of a difference with the manifold casting now you come to mention it. shame
But it's in a Defender aka 90/110 isn't it ? so you'll be fine here

Excellent, any info would be gratefully recieved.Hmm could be another project coming my 110's way.

Be careful with any acidic stuff added to the coolant, it nay eat the alloy cylinder head as you watch

Dave did you get RAVE from the link in the Tech Archive
this may help ----------
This file is an image of the Land Rover Rave CD, if you cant read this file straight away, you need to do one of two things. Either write the image to a CD, using Nero or similar - note you need to write the image to CD, not just write the file. Or you can get hold of a program such as 'Alcohol 120%' which will create a virtual CD drive on your PC, freom which the file can be read, this negates the need to write a CD

Callum, is that Discovery column stalks you have fitted & how difficult was it to connect/match them up to the Defenders wiring harness, got any more pictures & info about fitting them please

BFG MT's in 255/85R16 on my 110, got about 50,000 out of the previous set & a lot of that was tarmac mileage, pretty good on wet roads to provided you give yourself more space in front.

Well Said Stephen very nice picture too

Thanks for all the advice guys, I've ordered a Midland 38 from Thunderpole.
Just have to fit it & master the lingo now - must watch Convoy again...
wouldn't worry about learning the CB lingo, hardly anyone uses it now, just clearly spoken will be fine
-
Not sure if it's possible, looking at the parts book for both 200 & 300Tdi, the 300's turbo is or looks to be a integral part of the exhaust manifold assembly, 200 turbo is a seperate part.
-
I don't like them & wouldn't trust them on a heavy vehicle like a LR of any description.
-
I've replaced the chassis end bushes without jacking the 110 up, I chocked all wheels both side & parked it in low/diff lock engaged, 110 & axle didn't give me any problems.
-
Should be enough space for a Tdi, reckon chassis part of engine mounts will have to be moved at the very least.

Yep, checked & repaired the screen base rail, just 2 very small bits there, screen & it's frame & front doors were removed to do these repairs, [see last 2 pics in my first batch of pictures] I don't have the time to do a bulkhead change, need to use my 110 every other day & weekends for rally recovery duty & other volunteer work, I'd love a new bulkhead & get it galvanised but can't have the 110 off the run for that long.

probably need to adjust the lever bias spring bolts, the lever should move easily between 3rd/4th in a straight line
