Not all County had body coloured roofs, that was a option, black arch flares are basic SW parts, what covering is on the floor/seats if rubber matting/vinly seats it's a air cond fitted basic SW.
Reckon so, it must be thinner in that area due to the change in angles & the stresses imposed when pressed during manufacture.
wonder if any garage/dealer has mentioned this problem to LR, I'd class it as a fairly serious fault that should have a tech bulletin issued, if it was a part one my aircraft a serious defect report would be generated.
Blimey, first time I've seen that, looks like a weak area of the vacuum casing pressing, to much flexing underbraking, glad my 110 has the older smallet /fatter servo
Just found the check strap bracket on the door in EPC, it's shown as a replacable part ALR1801 for LH & ALR2684 for RH, I'll add the appropriate page in a moment.
I found that site a few months ago, while looking around on ebay
here's the front door parts page as promised --- it's item 18, I've written in the part numbers as they are different for each side.
FRONT_DOOR_PARTS.pdf
No, it's just a generic repair section for the door frame. have look on ebay [if you haven't already] for another door that may replace yours or give up the section you need.
these photo's might help
Certainly looks better with the standard front springs fitted, in the before pic you can see the front end is higher than the back, good to read it drives better too.
he got a bit worried when it happened, his GF wasn't too pleased either.
Red90 your correct that's the standard battery fixing on all 90/110 & virtually all other cars.
Doubt it my 110's a County & there's no mention of it on it's V5. as for carpets -- these are in the lodbay/under rear [2nd row] seats, rear passenger footwell, front footwells & covering front seatbox/gearbox tunnel, it's fairly hard wearing, but can/does hold water when wet.
A basic station wagon will/should have vinly covered seats [County -- cloth covered], rubber floor matting [County -- carpets] either can have the glass sunroof option, also the basic SW will have the 300Tdi Defender style steering wheel [County -- the late RR 2 spoke/Td5 style wheel]

No need to move the 200Tdi forward to fit a R380, I've got this setup in my 110CSW the engine sits on the original 2.5TD mounts & the R380 connects using the original LT77 bell housing [the very short 11cm overall length one] & sits on the original LT77 chassis mounts. A 2.8TGV would most likely fit but present exhaust & turbo connection problems [similar to fitting a Discovery 200Tdi into a 90/110] & the Td5 would mean moving chassis mounts as it's a longer engine overall.
I'd fit a rebuilt 200Tdi [Turner Engineering] suitably tweaked & either leave the existing gearbox or fit the R380.
I'd stick with the 200Tdi or swap in the 2.8TGV, the Td5 will not run without it's ECU, the unit injectors need the ecu to send them a electrical signal to operate at the correct time. I've never seen a standalone ecu for the Td5 engine.
LT77 will bolt up to the 200Tdi & TGV [as this engine is a updated 300Tdi] a LT77 could be made to fit a TD5 but the R380 is a much better gearbox [original fit on Td5 vehicles].
OK, it should be possible to ascertain which wires on the RR harness do the same job as the old TD harness, then the remaining wires will connect to the glowplug timer relay & main loom.
unfortunatly I don't have RR or Discovery 200Tdi wiring diagrams.
but this should help RR electrical diagrams from the Manuals section in our tech archive
Doesn't mean anything, most likely just a landlubber supporter of RNLI. if it was used for reversing boat trailers into sea water it would be much worse, if it's the original rear x member then it's 14 years old & doing very well.
would have been better to cut the rusted area out back to clean good material then welded in a insert with a plate over the top.
