never heard that one
where's diesel Jim when you need him
from Paddocks website
http://www.paddockspares.com/pp/DEFENDER/C...130_300TDI.html
-
Worth around 200 I reckon, but seems you got it for a lot less than that
-
IIRC the 130 friction plate has more springs than a standard 110 plate not sure of the diameters though.
-
OK, steve I hope it all works out to your satisfaction
-
Outstanding work again Nige should have more than enough suck to hoover up all the bobbly hats & greenies
-
Like I said I stand to be corrected and I am usually wrong .
Was It a uk spec vehicle BTW? Just out of interest.
SG
Yep,
air con fitted 110 & 90 -- note the extended nose panel to accomodate the evaporator radiators/fans, & the under screen vents sealed with black cover plates as used on the later NAS 110.

I've got a 350watt from the CB shop @ Exeter M5 services, it's made by A.M.P.S. & has a peak of 600w, cost me £54.95
-
The original fullsize RR IS here
-
AFAIK the earliest factory fit for aircon was the 300tdi, but I stand to be corrected on that.
SG
but I have seen pics of a 'E' reg 110 factory fitted with air con
-
This should be dealt with by E.MAIL & telephone/letter NOT through this forum, which has nothing to do with the transaction.
GET IT SORTED
-
Yes air cond, can be retrofitted to any 90/110, not sure when it was available on new vehicles, but I have seen pics of a 'E' reg 110 factory fitted with air con, finding a good one is the hard part, happy hunting.

Just out of curiosity - how are these things held in place? I would assume an interference fit.
Les.
Open the link & read the .pdf document which gives details on how to fit.

If he'd just gone to Shukers & asked for a demo or how/where to arrange some training I believe he would have saved himself 80,000+ £ & the embarassment of losing.
-
Brill, LR's defence used a video showing his vehicle driving in good off road conditions, & concluded by the judge the vehicle had no faults.
-
He should give up now before making himself look a even bigger t*** & stick to driving his VW Golf, obviously doesn't understand how the Freelanders systems work
-
i always thought 3 hole was the thickest? could be wrong though
0 hole gasket is the thickest, then 3, 2, 1 as the thinnest
0 = 0.81 to 0.90 for 300Tdi only IIRC
3 = 0.71 to 0.80
2 = 0.61 to 0.70
1 = 0.50 to 0.60
all mm chose depending on piston crown protursion above the block face.

Only options are as already described -- under drivers seat or in right rear wheel arch behind the wheel, this tank sits between the filler/outer skin & the wheelbox fuel pipe joins to the existing fill pipe, so it's more of a header tank for the main chassis tank, IIRC it holds 40 litres, Mantec used to have a version of this side tank on their website But it seems to have been removed from there.

This world journey is being followed in LRM -- Alexis Keech & Greg McCann & a big red 101 ambi
-
actually the same block & IIRC head as the 2.5n/a diesel in LR's. not having seen one of these Sherpa engines close up, I'm not sure which way the thread runs, but I would think it's a left hand as per any normal unit.
-
Congrats Will I'll drop in sometime in the future
-
It's mechanical selected & locked, only the diif-lock engaged warning light on the dash is electrical & should only light up when the centre diif-lock is fully engaged.
-
Mine didn't blow any where & that had in excess of 260,000 miles on it, but the head had minute internal cracks.
-
Thanks Ralph, I'll give it go and see what difference it makes. i'll also give the rad a careful blow-thorugh. The other day I pulled a dead bird out of the grille - talk about bad luck. I reckon it had been trying to overtake me!
Nah don't believe you more likely rammed it up the chuff in a traffic queue
or maybe one of your dogs put it there.

Not according to RT's MadDog post he say's
