hi all the fan belt on my 300tdi keeps shedding , it normerly take about 5mm of the front before it wraps itself around the fan , any ideas ?

the plates fit now that they have worn a little, have had to put cardboard in there to try and stop it , if it doesnt work i will try beveling them , wish id known that this morning ,ive had the things apart 4 times now

pistons were right in but they still wouldnt fit with the plates , am thinking of taking them back but i will get the usual bull from the suppliers ! where can i get afrtemarket plates

i know this sound stupid but ive installed a cb and wired the ariel up but it dont work(no signal) have wired the feed wire the said areil and the earth to the body but only get a lot of noise ! is anyone local who would be willing to turn theres on so i can see if it works

pads would not fit with plates in ,what can i use instead of plates ?any ideas

pads are mintex . the mechanic took the rubber pad of the piston and removed the plate , would that make any diffrence

yep sure did , 22 years of driving and ive never heard anything that bad

help my new pads are unbearably noisy any ideas to make them stop
