hi there, aldi proberly supplyied you with a short shank air fitting, (witch is some european litter) the standard british type (long shank, shank as in what the air fittings connect there selfs to) are rarly sold with the air tool, you can generally buy them of any good tool store, ill try and get some pictures of what i mean, also the british type will be the right thread for the air tool to just incase you are wondering !
