  1. Apparantly Rovers Down South in New Orleans have them or something very similar. Mike
  2. The inlet and exhaust manifolds on a series are usually a very tight fit together. If you can't get it off by itself, you may have to take the exhaust manifold off with it. Mike
  3. My guess would be the pieces that hold the window glass in, they are made of aluminum. Mike
  4. It stopped for a week and now it is doing it again. The cluch can be in or out but only happens when moving or coming to a stop. I think it is the clutch springs rattling but can't be sure. I feel it isn't something coming apart, I hope, as no bearing has that many parts. Everything else is quiet and smooth. Mike
  5. Is it possible for the turbo to be coming apart into the exhaust? The truck almost seems a little sluggish, rougher lately but I can hear and feel the turbo kicking in. Mike
  6. Have you ever heard what sounds like a handful of gravel being thrown up under the truck while driving ? It happens at no particular time, clutch in or out. I supect the clutch but am not sure. I drive a 1991 110 with a 200 tdi and an lt77.Everthing runs smooth and quiet otherwise. Thanks Mike
  7. I have done this recently and can offer some advice if you wish.Send me an e-mail at mwallace@gokenora.com Mike
  8. I can't comment if the Rocky Moutain starter will fit a diesel but it does fit a 2.25 petrol. Mike
  9. Check out www.wiseowlparts.com and look at their rocky mountain starter.I have one and they are great. Mike
  10. Vehicles have to be 25 years old to enter the U.S legally. There are a lot of really old Defenders around though, some would be as old as a Series,if you get my drift. All newer vehicles must meet current standards.Apparantly there is some loophole with the 1993 110 though I'm not sure what it is.Here in Canada the rule is 15 years old and I just brought in a 1991 110. Mike
  11. It shouldn't be any problem.I just imported a 110 into Canada by Ro/Ro and had the underseat storage and battery compartment stuffed with parts.Absolutely no problem with customs. Mike
  12. I was tired of dealing with rust so someone told me to try Por-15.I followed the instructions to a tee on new and old rusty metal. It peeled off the new metal and rust came through on the old metal.I could have saved myslf a bunch of money and used Tremclad. I wouldn't recommend Por-15 to anyone. Mike
