bog standard disco td5,hi-lo selector in hi position looks like a trip out to a garage is on the books then.

dont think it brakes or propshaft there isnt any resistance when foot removed from gas pedal, no black smoke either.someone said could be dodgy fuel gauge

mpg dropped over the past couple of months,normal driving speed is between 30/40mph. couple of mates with similair vehicles getting 25mpg

new filters all round bar air filter,clean oil. 59000 on the clock,main dealer sevice in july 09,i only do 8000 a year in it,could it be just the air filter then?or as the engine gone very thirsty?

my 04 disco td5 auto landmark not returning very good mpg,checked for leaks none found.i am a frugal driver,roadwork only getting less than 20mpg as anyone got any ideas what it could be? many thanks gunner29

evening people,EGR valve what is it,what dose it do and why do people remove it.ps is it a diesel or petrol related?

would putting 255/60/18s instead 255/55/18s cause any problems for my 04 td5 disco

had my td5 disco for 3yrs now without anything major going wrong. could someone explain what the job egr valve do,s,and why do some people remove it?

ta very much bogmonster,someone as suggested 36psi all round for roadwork with the nexens just tried it with the 255/55/18 wranglers WOW what a difference. got the nexens on ebay £235 for 5 including postage. many thanks gunner29

sadly i didnt smile when the snow came i stuffed my 04 td5 landmark into a tree on the 17th of december, got it back yesterday
