  1. What size of tyre are you needing? As used 40" treps arent overly expensive for the size of them,
  2. quite heavy & not overly agressive
  3. I looked at the rac parts one in 3" recently, decided to put the snorkel on hold as the rest of the airbox isn't that well sealed anyway
  4. @Stellaghost 17x9 rims are available off the shelf with landrover 5x165 stud pattern https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/285141635466?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=Gd3D5qKKR_W&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=dEYEUg-CRRe&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
  5. 57kg a wheel & tyre isn't that heavy, Sounds about right for when we ran 37" treps on alloy beadlocks
  6. yeah just mount the lowline feet forwards / outwards, how do you mean the slot is offset? im assuming its at the bottom of the bolt spacing?
  7. @muddy the standard 8274 boltpattern is the same pattern as low line winches, i do have a comeup lowline with there wide drum conversion which makes it the same bolt pattern as a +3" width 8274
  8. in fact, they made it from the top carpark at walters, down the gate keeper in the river bed at the JLR rocks & broke the rear R&P in the gate keeper, aprox 20 minutes on site 😤
  9. thats a fair shout, well, they were bought when they were trading still, although it would have been 7/8 years ago at a guess
  10. my Kam crownwheels didnt make it to 120 miles 🤣
  11. i bought a 2nd hand Ikamper for our trip round scotland this year, was very easy to use, seem to hold there value well if you intend to resell, i like the fact with the reasnable thick canvas, its dark inside even during the day,
  12. I've found the toyos quieter than the bfg, but they do have stiff sidewalls So far for the 30 miles I've done I do like them, about to do the nc500 in 2 weeks so can report back after that 🤣
  13. Just fitted a set of 255/85/16 toyos to my 110, weren't that dear but looking online seem to be about the 150 mark, If anyone is interested, I have a set of BfGoodrich km2 in 255/85/16 I'm selling
  14. @Northwards where about in scotland are you? i have a guy local to me that does good exhaust work thats fairly priced just outside bathgate
  15. not sure if you had seen this thread from the good old days of pirate https://www.pirate4x4.com/threads/i-blew-up-my-lt-230-at-koh-and-it-took-me-out.1626818/
  16. im intending on fitting a varient of that kit to my m57/8hp conversion, currently swaying towards electric actuators as it would make the vehicle install slightly easier, im led to believe that MW machines are in the process of Revising there kit to a less cummins agrifab bracket into a more elegant nicely made bracket
  17. With preparation they can be dunked like any other engine, unfortunately the majority of people who have had issues from going swimming have done very little preparation before hand,
  18. Currently in the process of getting ready to stuff a m57 & 8hp into my 110dc, having been fortunate to drive a variety of combinations at Mw Machines it's my personal favourite, however the m57 & 6hp would be a cheaper option, then cheaper than that would be a M57 bolted to your existing Mt82
  19. Torq axle have had some issues in the last few years also i believe,
  20. @PolarBlair I was looking at those auxbeam switch panels recently, Terrafirma do there own branded version but my observation is that they still have fuses in the main control box, although you could put circuit breaker fuses in place of the single blow fuse I suppose Ideally something like the switch pros would be my choice as its all solid state with no fuses, https://store.switchpros.com/rcr-force-12/
  21. i have to say this is one of those urban legends that seems to float about but with very little actual evidence of it happening,
