  1. Thanks emmerson, much appreciated
  2. Hi, after five trouble free years its finally bitten my behind, eas playing up, alarm codes have generally been "stuck valve". However, the time has come I think for a good seeing too, IE valve block seals, compressor overhaul and possible air bag renewal. I would prefer to have this work done by someone recommended by yourselves. Can you recommend anyone in the North Devon area, or better still....any volunteers....will pay the going rate. It's a 1997 P38 with only 67000 on clock, V8 and LPG, in immaculate order, when I get it sorted will probably sell as I now have no need of towing vehicle and could do with pound friendly transport.
  3. Thanks for the quick reply, checked trim along bottom and this if vibrating would sound similar. Suggestions for fixing, adhesive, silicon ??? Thanks again
  4. Hi, Does anyone have a clue about what may be causing an annoying rattle somewhere in the dashboard area. It manifests itself generally on a windy day and starts around 40mph at a fairly high pitch and as speed increases it tones down until it disappears around 70mph. If I had to guess I would say it was a speedo cable revolving in its sheath but I gather the speedo is electronic. It is that sort of noise anyway. It is almost impossible to locate by sound as depending on where you're sitting you would swear it was here or there and change your mind on moving seats! (hope that makes sense). Any simple access ideas to get behind dash? I've been reading several posts and like the reference to the Hevac chequebook symbol! and yes I have that up, I would guess my problem is lack of gas in A/C. By the way it's a 1997 P38 in immaculate order with only 61000miles, bought it with only 25000 on it and had it converted to LPG (venturi). What would it be worth now? Thanks for reading, hope to gain a few ideas.
