  1. I went paddocks today and turned out I needed 2 more olive connectors so I'll be fitting the rest tonight but the mid pipe was a nightmare
  2. Hi guys. I have a landy 90 2.5 td on an E plate which us 1988. But I have an 'AA' chassis number for it. The guy at paddock spares seemed quite baffled about this. I was just wondering if anyone could shed some light on this for me please thanks
  3. Cheers I obviously have the wrong piece as all the joins are the sane so I'm gonna go and get the right one today and finally get it finished
  4. Hey guys. I have started to install a new complete exhaust system to my 90. I have fitted the down pipe and then the mid pipe. between the 2 I have put an olive connection. But when it comes to fitting the mid silencer and back box, am I supposed to put the olive rings between these connections or not, only the connection between the mid silencer/mid pipe and mid silencer/back box, dont seem to go together. Any help will be much appreciated Thanks
  5. should the bottom bearing be flush in its housing?
  6. after reading another article, i have a feeling that i have put the top bush in the wrong way i.e the profile isnt in the right place, would that make a difference?
  7. the top swivel pin is the same as the one i took off though
  8. Hi guys, just replaced the hub seal and swivel seal on the o/s/f wheel on my 90. I have replaced the railko bush, thrust washer and top swivel pin also. having put everything back together, firstly the swivel pin doesnt seem to go all the way down (theres about 3-4mm gap and wont go any further) and also theres a lot of play on the wheel when i rock it in the 6 and 12 oclock position. Is it likely to be the bottom swivel bearing or not? also what could be the reason for the top swivel pin not going all the way down? could the thrust washer be preventing it? Thanks
  9. where do I get those things from? And if I fit that stuff will it just be a case of refitting the caliper or would I need a caliper rebuild kit too or is what you are telling me to get the same as a rebuild kit? Thanks
  10. When i prised the caliper apart in to 2 pieces
  11. Hi guys. I have taken the front hub off today to fix a leaky seal, bit of a nightmare mind. anyway when I took the caliper off, brake fluid started coming out. Is this normal or do I need to rebuild the caliper? I'm not so sure now that the hub was leaking as it could have been brake fluid.
