    19j mileage

Mine's on 174k, still going well and in everyday use. It gets an oil change every 2500-3000 miles. Hope to get a good few more miles out of it in the future!

    Axle number

Thanks Western, that's what I'd hoped. Cheers, John

    Axle number

Hi, I've a front axle with the number 22L18291 B stamped on the casing. Can anyone tell me what vehicle this would have come off? (Hoping it's a late 90/early defender?) Cheers, John

    Axle identification

Hi, I'm trying to identify a front axle I've just acquired. The number stamped on the axle tube is 35546237 H. I have a feeling it's from a Range Rover? If that is the case are any of the components (I'm thinking about the swivel balls etc) transferable to the axle on my 90? (1990 TD - assuming that's on it's original axle?) Cheers, John

    Recommendations to supply/fit chassis?

Hi, I'm looking to get a new galv chassis fitted on my 90. Can anyone recommend someone who can do this within a reasonable distance of Harrogate? I'm wondering about Jake Wright, Simmonites, Charles Bennison(?) or the guy who's next door to Richards Chassis (M.A.D?). Who else is out there? Any feedback, good or bad on the above would be appreciated. And... I know this is like asking the length of a piece of string but what's a ball-park figure for getting this done? Cheers, John
