  4. hi im about to flush the intercooler and clean the manifold just wondering how ard it is to remove the intake manifold and exhaust manifold. do i need to remove the down pipe. thanks thierry
  5. you'll find one on lrseries.com they are quite expensive. it was fitted to my 90 pick-up. mine was faulty and the back wheels lock so badly when braking hard it's around 108£ thierry
  6. yeah loads of wd40 and don't do it when the manifold is hot
  7. no it did'nt change anything on mind. i've just kept everything just in case they change the way they test emission for mot/doe. i don't think it's qualify as a modification to the car. it's the same as upgrading the air filter to a K&N. i could be wrong though thierry

  9. i've check all bushes which seems ok to me. i've even check the front wheels for play. there was a slight play on the driver side soadjust the bearing and all is fine now i've received my rear shocks today so going to do them in the morning. i've grab the front wheels at 12 and 6 o'clock to see if the there's play in the swivel but nothing at all. is there any other way of checking the kingpin bearing?

  12. Hi guys I'm planning of rebuilding the swivel housing as the kingpin bearing is shot I think. I could rock the wheel easily so change wheel bearing and adjust properly but it still thesame. And if I hit a hole on a corner the landy seems to go onone side! So imgoing to do both side. Any special tool I need before I get involve? Will I use the same shims I remove or the ones provided in the kit? Any help from anyone will be ofgreat help guys thanks Kind regards thierry

  15. its only at the back i can feel thats its not stable. also its only jiggles at the back i think its the shock so i should check them tomorrow
  16. Was just under the truck the anti roll bar bushes seems fine. But I do notice with the shock that when I was underneath I grab near the sills and I could rock the landy a bit without great force the shocks travel easily kind without the resistence I would expect! Then I jump onto the tow bar behind and when it was going up and down I could hear as if there was air coming outof the shocks. If you know what I mean?
  17. I haven't check if they are wet. So do you mean I have to replace the shocks on it?
  18. Hi guys I notice in the last few weeks that the landy is bouncing all over the place when driving over bump it just doesn't feel right at all. Could that be anti-roll bar bushes or any other bush which needs relacement? Anyone who had experience that before could give me any advice please thanks a mil thierry

  21. hi guys i was wondering if a fuel a pump from a disco 2 1999 fit a disco 2 2003. was on paddock site and it seems it's the same pump for both vehicle! part number WFX000280. is that right i'm not too sure thanks thierry
  22. sound lots of work but i'm going to do what i need to do while its off. any of these jobs will need special attention or are they pretty straight forward? im not afraid of tackling jobs and always keen on learning. i could spend day and night working on the landy thierry
