I am thinking of buying a 90 as a keeper and wanted to know how much work is involved in a chassis swap? Is this a DIY job for an enthusiast amateur?

Should I or shouldn't I"...... Sell the D2 and replace with a d3? I've done all the usual bits to mine which is a 2002 td5 that's done 87k and it's been treated to all the nice bits as well as having all new consumables. It's worth just under 6k but a d3 will cost at least another 5k on top Is it worth it for what is not my main car?????

Angle grinder worked on mine. The stray does stop dirt & Rubbish entering the engine bay but it does get in the way. Mines gone and I don't miss it! -
Standard disco with no lift....... Whats the biggest 16" tyres she can wear without modding the bodywork??????

As i do a lot of rally marshalling the facility to sleep in the disco would be great. I have done this before by removing the rear seats and made a panel to infill the rear footwell but ideally I would like to be able to do this whilst leaving the rear seats in situ. Has anyone done this or any bright ideas on the best way to achieve this? Thanks

At least with a Landy you can't drive into water. I went through less than 10" in a 520 diesel and that cost £16K for a new engine!

Add your location to your profile as I'm sure a local forum member will have a Hawkeye or nanocom which can trace any faults. I would change hoses to silicone as they are less likely to breakdown. -
I used to run old man emu on mine but had terrafirma on the d2 which have also been good.
