Hi, gone through a couple of alternators before I learned my lesson that if you wade through mud and dont clean up, your in trouble!!!. Now, although being a more caring alternator type person mine has moved from a quiet alternator to a bit noisy (difficult but I would describe as a rubbing bearing noise). The battery dash light has stayed on until I depress accelerator for some time but all ok apart from that. So, question - do you think the new noise is the start of the alternator packing it in ? I have given it a lashing of wd40 and it has helped. Views pls

Interesting, was there at that stage and the place where we were staying was taking a group of Dutch folk out in a series 3...small world. I was with a mate in another def90 but we were discussing if you could do it alone. Think answer is yes (as you proved) but was concerned if something broke, it was a bit of a hike out...or be prepared to stick it out, perhaps overnight in the LR.

Hi, 1st post on this forum so hi to all. I can agree with others that Billing is great. Good size, loads of other LR's to letch over, plenty to watch in terms of entertainment and good deals, cant go far wrong,
