Defender 90 200tdi I have nearly finished rebuilding the front axle i'm at the point of putting the wheel adjusting nut on. i tighten it till the hub spins freely enough, in the workshop manual it says to check the end float i got a loan of a dial guage but still cant figure out exactly how it is checked. it say about a tolerance of .127 to .254 what is this relation to. TIA nick

  4. i have been trying to get the rear wiring loom back down through the chassis. i want to put in the rail as i dont think having outside is a good idea. has anyone done this and what is best thing for doing it. Thanks nick

  6. i know any part supplier do them but i want a whole kit i don't want to start ordering bits and get them then find i'm missing something

  9. It is not oneten it is one hundred and ten. that is how you write the number in proper English seems someone is editing my posts for me. seen as how this forum seems so intent on proper English and grammer
  10. Measurement is 1510mm center to center of holes. That is on a ninety chassis and oneten chassis. @ I will point out that I am from outside the UK and English is not my first language yet i manage.
  11. will take measurements tomorrow what was your chassis out of ? have chassis's there to will measure them as well i have an outrigger i'll give ya the dimensions of that as well
  12. if its any good to ya i can tel what the center to center measurement of holes on the bulkhead.
  13. had an hour to spare and no sign parts for axle so started to do timing belt and seals on engine.
  14. Stripped front axle and Painted some of the parts Will finish stripping and other side shortly strip otherside shortly busy at a tractor for week or so. Going to clean it up and paint MF dull black like back axle and for some contrast painted parts in JCB yellow
