  1. Do you have any more info on this, I can't find it on the HBRO site? EDIT: Cancel, found it on the calendar page. It's not mentioned from the 'Driving Days' link on the home page Do you have details of costs, I think I'm still a member!
  2. As the OS mapping is Copyright you're not going to find any Ozi format mapping available for download. The best I can suggest is you buy the OS paper maps and scan then for use in Ozi. Or buy Memory-Map and their electronic OS mapping for those areas.
  3. If you buy a new map set then they will come with the later application anyway?
  4. Memory-Map have full UK OS mapping available at various scales as well as aerial photography maps too. Yes you can, there is a PocketPC version. You'd have to scan and calibrate the maps yourself though.
  5. Memory-Map is the most popular and gets my vote. You would need a PDA or Laptop to run it on though. You can pland and save tracks on the PC/Laptop version and then uplaod maps and routes to the PDA. At the end of a days greenlaning you can download your journey back to the PC and save it for future reference. It works really well and is easy to use. GLASS's Wayfinder database can also be imported into Memory-Map. You could always install a road navigation application on the PDA as well such as TomTom. For the GPS I'd reccomend a Bluetooth Receiver. Reviews of all are on our website.
  6. Done also. I have copied this to DOC. Let's fill her mailbox and make ourselves heard!
  7. I'm running Vista Business on an 18mth old Dell Inspiron laptop and it runs perfectly. Runs faster than XP did with much quicker suspend and On. No issues with drivers yet either.
  8. What's the issue? Apart from the Text To Speech voices on the 910 and the map, the system files are identical across all x10 GO's so a 510 or a 710 would do. I've got a 910 here though so what gives?
  9. As you approach Bordon from Farnham, the course is on your right and will be clearly signposted. In fact as you approach if you look to the right you'll see the course and the trucks going around before you turn right down the access track. The event is on the AWDC Calendar page here
  10. Sadly I don't know of any routable digital mapping for Romania, TeleAtlas and Navteq are busily extending their Eastern European map coverage, buying in data where it is available and of decent quality but Romania is not one of those available as yet.
  11. OziExplorer is not excatly a road navigation solution. Once you've scanned and calibrated a map and imported it into Ozi it will show your position on screen but it cannot 'route' you as it lacks the data that comes in digital mapping. All it can do is show the 'as the crow flies' arrow to your chosen destination or waypoint. If you run it on a laptop you look at the laptop, you can run it on a GPS equipped PocketPC as well but as I say, it's not a road navigation solution if you are comparing to the likes of Garmin StreetMaps, TomTom, Navman etc.
