I was going to ask a similar question. Im looking for my first foray into the world of 'off roading'. Would it be suitable for a "showroom shiney" Freelander on road tyre? I want to get a little bit of experience doing something simple in it first before i start buying new wheels/tyres for more intermediate stuff. I saw the add in the back of LROI and thought this could be just what im looking for.

I see many places do it,all offering roughly the same thing. Has anyone on here had there's 'chipped' or anything similar.Im thinking about having mine done as i have a bit of cash to spare before xmas. Whats the best thing to have done? Pro's and con's? Will it actualy make much difference? Any comments welcome

Hello Folks. Im new to this,VERY new.Just got my first Landrover this week (Yes its only a Freelander),although ive driven plenty at work (HM Forces). Im looking to try out a few realy easy green lanes,i wondered if anyone knows of any in the Sussex area,or surrounding counties? Remember,they gotta be suitable for a shiney Freelander Cheers.

Hi Folks, Thought i'd come on here and say Hi.Ive just joined the Freelander revolution by purchasing a 04 reg TD4 Sport,and i love it. Are there any other Sport owners on here,if so would be great to hear from you.Does anyone know of any good clubs that maybe worth joining? One last thing....Am i pretty much wasting my time thinking about doing some "easy" off roading in the sport model? If i can work out how to attatch a picture,i will.
