  1. PM Rangeyrover he has got one fitted to his RRC.
  2. Using a bit of heat (Oxy) and a hammer does the trick if its the rim edges.
  3. I built a 100" tomcat last year and i put the rad in the back. I had to use a Davies craig electric water pump as i found the original water pump was not man enough to keep up.
  4. Just picked up a 92 RRC MOT failure and i am going to use the engine and box (3.9 auto) including the EFI for my 90. Question is what is the best or quickest way to remove them? Would they come out as a whole unit or do i have to split them? It also has LPG. Would i be wise and junk this or try and reuse it. The reason i ask is because i was told it is not very wise to move second hand LPG setups.
  5. I had a simillar problem with over fueling last year and it turned out to be the fuel pressure regulator. Mine would run for about a few hundred yards then loads of smoke then stop. It cost about £30 and it was a bugger to fit as it sits betwwen the bulkhead and the rear of the engine.
  6. I like the sound of that . a bit of destruction. But i think the missus would have something to say about that. I just hate doing DIY.
  7. Need to find some pics of comp vehicles then i assume. I understand there is alot of work involved. At the end of the day i cannot make it any worse than it already is.
  8. I've read the link and thanks for that but its not the look i want to go for. I want to give a squated apearance if you now what i mean. And i have to much time on my hands.
  9. The head room is not an issue as i plan to mod the seatbox to compensate. The main reason for lowering the roof is so it will fit in my garage due to an up and over door. Plus i have never seen it done before. I never use the vents anyway.
  10. I want to lower the roof line on my 90 by removing the section that holds the air vents on the bulkhead. This is approximatly 3". It has series doors fitted with the tops removed so thats one less problem to overcome. At the moment it has a truck cab fitted, but i want to scource a van back and trim that down and sell the cab. My question is has anybody done this before, and are there any pictures or information to be found. I have trawled the internet and found nothing. Any help would be greatly apppreciated.
  11. The gearbox mounts on the offside are different as well i think.
  12. Will i be able to use the auto box? Any ideas on the propshafts?
  13. Come on guys i need a little help here. I am sure somebody must have done this conversion.
  14. I would like to have another setup of you but this time it will have to be the MS setup. I would like to say to you all that Rangy Rover fitted a MJ kit to my 3M Challenger and it did make a big differance to the way it started and ran even through water. I even jetwashed the engine when i got home from a days offroading and it still ran fine. So don't knock it till you try it.
