  1. Hi mate, Do you have a pic of the truck cab (it's for the same landrover as trendkill is asking for). Cheers

  2. Cheers for the replies. I'll stick with it as it is, dislike vosa enough without giving them the satisfaction of snooping around my disco Sean
  3. Hi, I've been told that 'Q' plating my disco is a good idea, mainly for insurance etc. Has anyone had experiance doing this? could do with some advice on what i need to do to make it elegible for a Q plate. Also if anyone has found it cheaper to insure, tax and any other things that may have worked out better. Cheers, Sean
  4. Do's anyone know the head size of the bolts on the fuel tank, think its an imperial size and i dont have a metric socket close enough? just keeps spinning on the bolt. Cheers, Sean
  5. Cheers for the link, will give them a call. Wasn't sure if they did bobtailed kits but looks like they do. Sean
  6. Hi, Just wondering if anyone has used fibreglass cab kits and what are pro's and con's of doing it? Cheers, Sean

  8. Hi, I've just removed the Viscus fan on my v8 disco and wired the standard electric fans up to a switch in the cab. Are the standard fans enough if always running to cool the engine or will i need to get after market fans to stick to the back of the radiator? Cheers, Sean
  9. Cheers for the replies, looks like im going to stick with 2" suspension lift and cut arches for bigger tyres. Sean
  10. Hi, I've been told by a friend that i can lift my suspension on my disco using 4" x 2" box section. Has anyone had experience doing this? I will be putting +2" springs and shocks on soon and wanted to take it to 4" without spending £60 on spacers. Another thing i've noticed is that by putting spacers on the front it will lift the springs and dampers, on the back it only lifts the springs, Do's this mean that the front will sit 2" higher than the back?? Cheers, Sean
  11. I've wired mine to the plug for the cd head unit, then ran the ariel wire through the hole above the throttle, accross the back of the engine bay and up to the ariel.
  12. Hi, Do's anyone know if a 2 inch suspension lift from a 300 series defender will fit on a Discovery 1? My friend has bought a defender which comes with the kit and was planning on swapping it on to mine. Cheers, Sean
  13. Spot on, thanks for the replys. Sean
  14. Hi, Are there any good tutorials (preferably with pictures) of how to lift Discovery 1 Body? Thats next job with mine but i want to make sure i do it right Cheers, Sean
