Anyone got pictures of how the safety bonnet catch has to be modified?
I'm getting a 300 tdi IC one of these days, so then I can compare the differences
-
The bottom pipe can be modified or cut. The problem is the depth. It will not fit... This was confirmed by Allisport

I've got a full size Allisport IC for a 200 tdi which I'm trying to fit into my 300tdi Defender. From what I see they are suppose to be same size and therefore I thought fitting should be straight forward. I'm however experiencing some difficulties
First, this is the bottom hose. Can I just cut off a part and fit a silicon hose?
Second, I think the IC is sitting a bit to much out towards the bumper. I normally have the front panel sitting behind the receiver here. Should the IC be sitting further back or is moving the front panel the only options? It seems to me that moving the front panel is a bit of hazzle..
The IC is pretty close to the radiator.
Brackets are fitted correct?

Great. Thanks

Could anyone please help with fitting instructions for a full sice Allisport IC? Defender 300 tdi

Takker Lars Then maybe I'll get hold of one

Will a Allisport Fullsize IC from a 200tdi RRC fit a 300tdi Defender?

Ok. I've been searching for 7-pin plugs but so far no luck. Any tips?
-
Anyone knows where to get hold of 7-pin remote sockets?
-
Hmm. Ok. Let's say I'll get a Lodar. I'm running a demountable winch. How to best wire it? Since it can not be connected straight to the relay box?
-
I understand that many recommend Lodar. What about Superwinch remote control? A bit cheaper also
-
If you want to make it waterproof, just mount it in a small waterproof box, problem solved?
That might be a good idea
-
My winch is demountable and that's why I thought it would have been nice to mount it within the range of the relay box.
I've looked at this. I believe it's possible to install the plug in the grill and to have a cable between the winch and the grill. If you know what I mean
-
Does any know if this is waterproof? Can it be mounted on the outside of relay box?
-
It's only wobbly when cornering. I had the same problem on my Disco so I've gone through the checklist before
So far I've changed all the balljoints including the drop arm from the steering box. Next will be a preload check.
-
Ok. Thanks. Then my wobbly steering is caused by something else
-
When my steering box is in center there is no or little play, but when I turn the wheels full either way there is quite a lot of play. Will tighten the steering box help?
-
Great work. I've got the same plan for my truck cab. I might ask for some more pictures
-
What type of cradle? Price? And can it be shipped to Norway?
-
Please post pictures of your demountable front winch. I'm making my own receiver for the front winch and need some inspiration
-
Yours looks just like mine so I'd be happy with both.
924 is measurement to start with to correct slight steering wheel inaccuracies this can decrease/grow in order to get the wheel dead straight.
Measure from the center of the ball joint?
-
I was wrong . Mine is just a bit to right
Is 924 mm the correct measurement for the drag link?
-
I think my arm is way off this. I'll post pictures tomorrow
