I am looking for a two door classic from 1988 to 1992. I am looking at the European market at the moment. The LHD's being sold here are going for silly money. So if someone from France,Germany of Spain wants to get in tough I am all ears.
Had the same problem with mine. The Receiver will limp along for a while but will eventually fail. Replace as soon as you can because it will become a pain.
I have two dogs who need to be separated otherwise they fight!!
At the moment I have standard dog guards in both my Range Rover and Discovery with an MDF partition but am in the process of building metal mesh dividers just waiting for a 3d printer to create some of the fittings.
The horn worked last night when I pulled the relay but out on the road the horn and the cruise did not work. I think I will replace the relay with a new one and see what happens.
I had checked a few fuses when I did it. I had checked F13 as well and it was intact.
Have just been out (in the freezing cold) and re checked the fuses. Then I pulled out the relay and pushed it back in as it seemed to be a little high and I mean a little. Tried the horn and it works so tomorrow Iwill test the cruise.
Shackleton you are a star thanks for your help.
Have today checked the fuse and it is in tact so I am guessing there must be something else wrong with this circuit but I would not know where to start. Ideas please.
I have just taken 20" L322 alloys off my P38 and it improved the steering tremendously. Previously the steering was very twitchy. Why can people not leave them alone!!
My cruise control has just stopped working and I miss it. Where should I start looking? I know if it was a P38 or a classic I would start with the vacuum pipes is this the same idea?

Did think about the airlock but when I removed the airlock plug with the engine running it was blowing out great guns. Now I am getting a little heat through will try doing it again to see if it is an airlock.
