    TD5 DISCOVERY

Ah cheers Orange i have been looking at the GS spec and converting it to Coils but the same spec as yours are so cheap to buy it would be used as a daily runner to work and back so the MPG might be a worse than i thought.
  2. HI guy's after some advice i am thinking of buying a 2000 td5 discovery. Whats the mpg like etc and what should i be looking out for or should i just avoid them thanks in advance.

  7. Were did you hear that?? as far as i know now all vehicles will be plain Nato green or Sand, any info on that would be good Herp as it sounds pretty interesting
  8. Ryan is there going to be any after the new year as i can't make this and i love it up there.??
  9. Well to be honest i think it would be right to give it to someone who has been here for a while and has posted a fair amount of useful post etc etc
  10. I would say the best way is just to trawl Goggle images and put in "camo land rover" or such like and you will be surprised at what pops up. Or if you do not want it to be spot on then then get a bit creative with the brush as the good thing with Nato paint is if you don't like just paint over it again.
  11. ^^^^ Walfy you would be perfect for the Military section as you being a Engineer are pretty good at breaking em and then hiding the damge with green string and bodge tape.......................
  12. Eblag is the best place for Nato paint and its a lot easier to paint it buy hand!! and being Nato paint no need for to much prep to the body work as it will stick like dog toffee to a shoe.
  13. It's a lovely looking V8 but i would stick with your 300tdi and try to mod Your truck to look like that but with your personnel touch on it.
  14. Here is my RRC and thats all it's for is greenlaining and general run around at weekends. http://forums.lr4x4.com/index.php?showtopic=32774

    Ticking V8

Hi guy's i have bought the ticking V8 it runs fine and has plenty of power there. And as Fridge pointed out if it does go bang then you can easily pick up another V8 for pennys and the Rangie its self is solid cheers for the advice and i will keep you informed how it goes.
  20. Hi guy's well i have gone and bought me self another Landy so just trying to make some suttle mods and i am looking for some spot lights to mount up front. I really like Lightforce or roolite but i cannot justify spending that money so is there another light thats just as good but a little less money hopefully under £100. So any suggestions and links gratefully received
