  1. Some may find this post pointless so I appologise, but it took me ages to find this part number so I thought i'd share it. STC1219 - Cam Assy Door L Discovery 1 95on It has the bit on the top for the alarm microswitch.
  2. Mine does the same except when the rear (boot) door is open it's fine, start to close the door and the fuse goes so must be hitting earth somewhere, I'm waiting for better weather to investigate.
  3. MOT'ed mine last Thursday and he never mentioned about the Cat or the egr being removed, I take it year after year to the same place, he knows the car and all the mods which I have done.
  4. Sure I have a couple of spring seat's somewhere, I will have a look and you can borrow one to take measurements If I can find them.
  5. Quite easy although there are thread adapters in the bottom that have to be changed are can be a right female doggy to get out, I just replaced mine as they weren't too expensive.

  8. mine does it on 265's with a defender T box fitted.
  9. I have Terrafirma big bore expedition shocks on my disco, it's lifted with Britpart front and Bearmach rear springs, + 2" shocks and 1" spacers its has Adrenalin rear arms and Scorpion fronts which are both fitted with polybushes, I get a slight wheel wobble on bumps and it pulls to the left, I have an adjustable panard rod to fit which I'm hoping (fingers crossed) when tracked will cure both issues, wheel wobble was worse before I removed the Procomps and fitted the Terrafirma's. http://www.terrafirm...?cat=41&grp=258
  10. Transfer boxes as standard are 110 : 1.6, Disco : 1.2 so gearing will be different.

  12. I think Devon 4x4 do a prefilter that fits behind the mesh on the safari head. *EDIT* http://www.devon4x4.com/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage.tpl&product_id=1474&category_id=256&keyword=pre-filter&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=14
  13. 300Tdi Auto, I noticed a little bit more grunt low down especially when cold, coupled with a de-cat mad a small noticeable difference at low revs. Don't expect huge power gains
  14. Try E bay by the time you have spent looking locally you could get a few delivered.

  16. Check the plugs on the back of the headlights as these tend to melt and give earth problems.
  17. http://cgi.ebay.co.u...=item5adb7aad5e There are 2 flanges one @ 49mm long fitted to 200 series and one @ 61mm long, you need the 61mm long flange stc4858 . If you use the shorter 49mm flange then you need a 12mm spacer which Ashcroft's do.
  18. Freelander bulb holders are what you want about a fiver each from land rover XBP100190
  19. Vehicle Wiring Products I think they are 01252 2 way connector £2.33
  20. It's more than likely an air gap on one of the wheel sensors, try tapping the sensor down one wheel at a time and trying the car this will point out which sensor it is (if that is the problem) the sensors are a push fit and when the wheel rotates it makes it's own air gap. The bush that the sensor pushes in to becomes weak and allows the sensor to move, but I did an easy fix on mine.
  21. The ABS light stays on until you reach 5mph, it's more than likely a wheel sensor (air gap too large) try tapping them down one at a time then you may find the problem 1 which is an easy fix.
