Hi all I'm thinking of selling my 90 hardtop. It's had a disco engine conversation, brand new clutch fitted, new wheels and tyres. Has an awesome plate DI90 Mechanically sound. But.... The appearance is less than nice. Doors don't lock, paint on front wing is heaverly chiped. What sort of money do you peeps think I'll get for her? Where can I add pics on the site?

HI all, I had a small fight with a tree and wanted to no if any one had any tips of repairing damage with replacing the pannel?? its on the front right wing looks to be just paints all chiped of. can i use a type of filler and them paint it?? tried to upload a photo but no joy !!!!!! any help would be appreciated cheers

Clutch is now dead. any one know any good garage's around the Banbury area?

Also if anyone knows of a disco gearbox 2.5 going. I can do it all in one hit

Hi all, last week I pulled a lorry cab out of mud..... ever since when ever I try to accelerate, above 1/2 throttle'ish I lose drive, the engine revs like crazy and I have to wait for something to catch up with engine. is very confussing.

Great, thanks a lot, went to the dealer today, they ordered me a barrel for the door!!!! think they missed when I said "ignition", they tryed charging me £130 for a new Steering Column Lock Assembly, think i'll go for the £30 one. cheers all

ahh, thanks. so they lied to me, going to dealership in morning, took the the whole ignition assembly off, will take with me, and see what can be done!!! (getting fed up with riding to work)

Hi all, I've got a D plate 90, My keys went walkies on sat night. can't seem to find the key no.tried contact a dealership with my VIN but no joy. They can provided me with a barrel and two keys for £11. How easy is this? can i just replace the barrel? can't work out how to get the barrel out!!! any help would be appreciated

have Haynes manual and the colour code list but still can't work out what one or two spay connectors do,as they don't seem to be in manualand what the couler code says they do they just wont reach!!!!!!!! any one know of a individual digram just for the bulk head loom??

thanks old hand for loom, so far so good attempting to label it up before i start, quite diffecilt as there are a lot of cables in my truck not attached to any thing!!!! but looks quite straight forward, if i can work out where these last couple of cables go, think theres going to be a lot of swearing this weekend

nice one, think my novice mind got that, no rear wiper or HRW so not to much to worry about back there just lights and trailer socket, I plan to do it over one weekend, i still cant work out how everything works with the fuses taken out ?!!!!!!?!?!?!

hi, i recently brought a 1986 D reg defender off a window cleaner, he had put in extra wiring to power water pumps and other things, i was having problems so i pulled out all the extra wiring, every where i look there is spliced cables and cables not connected to any thing, I need to rewire as something is draining my over the night. this an example of my problems i pulled out all the fuses behind the gear stick and every thing still works!!!!!!!!!!! except for the horn, need to know where to begin and/or where to buy a complete wiring loom .

Thanks all do like the MUD ones but to pricey for me, just going to make some out of ply and stuff some roof insulation down the back for extra padding

My landy has just passed its MOT, but when i got it it home for some reason, when u hit full beam the main lights turn off!!! not the fuse as i can hear them clicking when i hit the switch dash light works. any ideas???? there was a small amount of smoke coming from the fuse box when i tapped a lose cable back in.

i'm looking for interior side panels for my 1986 defender 90, i just want to cover the metal and install some speakers. any ideas where i can find them, only found one site selling them and there well over priced. if all else fails i'll have to make some!!!
