Hi All, My accelerater pedal has become disabled on a number of occasions, the engine symbol on the dash lights up but the engine remains running and will accelerate at approx 5mph with the engine at idle revs. This has happened on a number of occasions and always in the wet, after the truck is left sit for a couple of hours its fine again. Has anyone else come accross this problem? Is there some control/electricla box under the chassie which could get wet and maybe the cause of this problem? I would very much appreciate any feedback, Thanks Tony

Hi Chris, Hope you dont mind me taging on to your querie, I have had a similar problem with my parking lights lost power to them on right hand side and checked bulb ok and fuse ok. I wonder is there some relay in between the fuse and the bulb that has blown, anyone have any thoughts. Thanks

Hi all, hope you can help me, my accelerator disengaged on two occasions after going in and out of a couple of puddles. The engin stayed idling and I was able to use this idle speed to get home, a couple of hours later (I assume when the problem dried out) everything worked as normal. Can anyone advise, Thanks.
