  1. Sussed it now guys the connectors I bought are handed but will fit in the bottom of either side window motor, which is unusual as most connectors that are handed will only fit one side or the other. confusion over with. on another note does any one no weather all disc 4s come with the subwoofer in the tail gate if not is the wireing there to be able to retro fit one? would be good to no before I attempt to remove the tailgate cover.
  2. Hi not sure if this has been done before or weather I just can’t find it on hear im trying to get my back windows working on my 2013 commercial disco I’ve bought the extra plug in bits removed the door card removed the silicone from the plug socket on the motor plugged in the loom and all I get is a clicking noise from the solenoid? have I missed something? is there anything I should check. also I have tried to remove the motor by undoing the 3 screws but there is a 3 armed plastic peace over it I don’t want to force anything and break it. any help on this will be much appreciated.

    4.0 V8 LPG

Not all as bad as above as with all landrovers they have there problems I Owen a 1997 v8es lpg and apart from a few minors its been fine I don't drive it every day I've put 10.000 m on the clock sinse I bought it 3 years ago and they have been prity painless now has 110.000 on the clock did a 1200 mile journey back in November without a hitch I tend to look at it as more of a classic at this age and make sure I do regular checks on all the fluids and don't treat it rough it won't bite you. List of things in past 3 years. Brake pads front and rear Front wiper blades Lpg serviced Just had minor welding on the sill and new longe life stainless exhaust and that's it. Things I've done my self. Fitted 18" disco 3 wheels using billet alloy spacers 1" lift kitt HD bulbs to head lamps All thease make the truck look and drive better.
  4. After 3 years of owning my 1997 v8 es I finally had anuf of the gonging noise when I hit 70 mph this spoils what is otherwise a quite motorway cruiser here is what i did I removed the panel under the steering colum to revile the fuse bord then I removed the fuse board by undoing the to 8mm bolts so that I could get to the back on the back of the board is a cream coloured plastic box this can be removed from the board with a bit of a wiggle then disconnect any wireing going to the box then I took the box out and eased it apart inside is the warning buzzer it's about the size of a 10p and is black with a silver centre this has 2 solder contact strips running to it now this is the bit that sounds harsh but if your carefull works fine and won't damage anything else and is a lot more certon than cutting wires then finding you've cut the ronge ones take a flat blade screw driver and scratch across the 2 solder strips until the contacts are broken then replace every thing in reverse order to how you removed it hay prestow no more irritating bonging noise be aware that this also stops the warming gong that tells you that you have opened the door and left the keys in the ignition that this has gone is a bones to me hope this is of use to all you frustrated disco 1 users with this annoying option fitted to there trucks.
