  1. The wheels you bought may have come off a 2004 car, but they may not have been the original wheels, or the seller may have said they were newer than they are to get a better price.
  2. The td5 uses electronics rather than basic electrics. The engine control module needs inputs from other modules, abs, instrument cluster, auto box, body control, etc. The days of an engine being a stand alone unit are gone. Best option is to look at basic Defender td5 ecm and loom, don't have that rave disc though so can't see how it all connects.
  3. Turning the key twice within 1 second will superlock the doors without activating interior protection.
  4. How much for just the inner part that BMW were selling for under £25 last summer.

  6. Got 215/80R15 Kuumho KL78 AT's on mine for a bit of a lift.
  7. Steel wheels from any year fit any year Freelander. Alloy wheels from 2001MY on fit any year Freelander. Alloy wheels from 2000MY and before only fit those years.
  8. I think it was fitted as standard on early Td4s, then PTC heaters fitted instead and the FBH became an option.
