So i am right in thinking all d2 v8s will be coil packs not distributor??

Or would a megasquirted v8 d1 be a better option?? Im expecting everyone to say just buy a diesel haha

Im looking at buying a d2 v8 as an offroad toy but am wondering how waterproof the v8 is?? Am i wrong in thinking that the d2 v8 runs on coilpacks instead of a distributor so should be as waterproof as a megasquirted v8?? Obviously a snorkel would be fitted as well.
