  1. Well Jason I would ask myself how much use have you had out of it since you built it, and if the guy goes camping on a regular basis why does he need a trailer all of a sudden. With good freinds it's a different story, you know how they respect your kit and return it as you lent it to them. How well does this guy look after his own kit???????? and if he has spare money cant he rent one. For me it would be Sorry Pal
  2. Driving Through France Be Aware From 1 July 2012, it will be a legal requirement for all moroists (including visitors) in France to carry an NF- approved disposable breathalyser in the vehicle. The on the spot fine for not carrying a breathalyser is 11Euros. The French police will show lenency until 1 November. You can buy the kits from most French supermarkets for aproximatley 1.5- 2 Euros Most breathalysers have a shelf life of two years so be aware of use by dates. Drive Safe Charles
  3. Me Again One thing you could try if you use some 2mm alli, "I allways er on the side of less weight when kitting out my landi, stainless comes in quite heavy" drill the hole for the flue pipe, then about 10mm out from that drill a circle of 10mm holes around the flue hole leaving a good 5mm between holes that would allow some air through cooling the alli plate instead of it being a heat sink, but not to much to be a draught. I cant rmember what rails are on the hannibal but if round you could try nylon clips that snap on copper pipe. Charles
  4. I understand you not wishing to cut holes in the awning. Depending how hot the pipe gets, you could make a heat sheild by using a sheet of alli say 9"x9" with a snug hole for the flue pipe to fit through, then clip it on the awning rail. Dont forget your spark arester on the new end of pipe!!! Charles
  5. Hi Jason You can get tent flashing kits from www.campingsolutions.co.uk for the frontier stove. It looks a bit bulky but will keep the rain at bay. As to the air required for a normal domestic log burner with an output of 6kW the vent size would need to be 550mm2 so say the frontier has an output of 2kW you need a vent of at least 200mm2 permanent opening. And a co2 detector would be a good idea.

  14. Hi Bothy Yes there was a lot more forrest to go at, but we try and do somthing different each time we use a venue,. this gives you a different challenge each time so its not repetitive. Also we were a bit down on team members for setting out and running the event, so a compact course is more easey to look after. And with the two casualties on the day to look after we were a bit streched . it would be good to see you at Clyro even for the Saturday if you can find a co driver. Hope you and Mrs B have a great hoilday Charles
  15. I dont believe you, you usually finish things off at scrutineering what's changed????????? Charles.
