  1. I know Jon's V8 Setup VERY well his truck has been on the End of My Winch Rope on MANY an occasion However His V8 Setup (Plus Most Others I Think) is significantly different to the TD5, plus Jon seems Pretty happy @ present with his Ne Dog Clutch & Twin Chain Drive. I however am DYING to get a suitable TD5 Engine Driven Pump solution to replace My PTO Pump. Lyndon C
  2. I've Rung Them Multiple Times, Need To speak to "Pete" the Milemarker expert ! He's returned one call 3 days later and stated he will get back to me with info - but 1 week later still nothing ! Also I think if First Four Off-Road are anything like 4x4Winches.com they will charge "A Premium" for anything they supply ! Lyndon C
  3. As a carry on from this question does anybody have the Part Numbers for the 12V Soft Start Solenoid Valves Supplied with the Type R ? I have tried contacting first For Offroad (New Suppliers of these Winches) but as of yet have not had a response. thanks Lyndon C
  4. "jericho" Thank you as well for this info, I will give "laminarflo" a try to see what he has, just to clarify is there any other difference between a Group 2 & Group 3 Pump other than the Displacement ? I think I'm going to agree with you about the PTO approach being a pain in the but - putting it in & out of Neutral (plus no Drive Assist)but I'm using a PTO as a test bed until I can sort the correct Pump Size etc then I will spend the time to come up with a "Nice" engine driven solution. Lyndon
  5. "SiWhite" Thanks for this info it will definitely give some help selecting pumps & motors and comparing specs Lyndon C
  6. "Milemarker Type S" Thanks for this These will give me a starting point Lyndon
  7. Hi, I'm looking to upgrade My milemarker Winches to a similar spec as the Type R Variant (Without Changing The Drum) Can anybody tell me what size PTO Driven Pump & Motor to fit I seem to remember someone telling me 38 CC/Rev pump & 100CC Motor but My memory is not always that reliable so I would like a more definative answer. All (Sensible) comments welcome Lyndon
  8. In case anybody else is interested I've managed to get the correct Part. Tha Part No is: CXB500210PMA Lyndon c
  9. I think that's the "Old" small key type as it covers Vin AA > 1A Right Hand Drive The One I want is going to be Post 1A Chassis & Left Hand Drive Only Lyndon
  10. Definately interested in the wheels and tyres. Where abouts in Cookham are you as my wife travels upto Slough for work some days or if you're close enough I could do a trip myself. Let me know the post code and a day you're around and I'll let the satnav take the strain!

  11. Ok a bit of a weird one I'm after what would be the Drivers Door Handle of a Late Left Hand Drive TD5 Defender(the one with the Bigger Lock)i.e. same key as the ignition rather than a separate smaller key What I want to do is fit locking door handles to both front doors of late TD5 Defender truck cab as currently the Passenger side has no lock (Blanked Off) and the only left hand door handle I can find take the smaller lock/Key Any Help Would be appreciated. Thanks Lyndon C
  12. Have you looked on the 4x4winches website and looked at the "Type-R" version, this has the extended drum and some pictures and videos that should give you some ideas. Lyndon
  13. If I Could I Would, but it's all spaced out and have no free space as tank is "Fitted" to Bulkhead Shape then other part of tank is shaped to the spare wheel that in turn is touching the rear winch. Pain in the arse I know but It in itself doesn't really add much to the cost of the cage according to North, Stunning and Whitbread appx £50>£100. I just think QT don't really want the work - Hence the price. Lyndon
  14. All Qutes are for the Same Basic Cage. the "Special" part of my cage is that due to my Hydraulic Tank that's fitted in rear tub, the rear hoop cross braces cannot go down to base of hoop where it meets the chassis (I know this will make it non ARC or MSA) Apart from that my only request is to make it as close fitting as humanly possible. Lyndon
  15. Well a bit more of an update on Supplier Prices Etc. Unfortunately Exact Fabrication are moving so will be unable to even think about doing roll cages for three months or so QT Services were sounding interesting in what they could do until Dave Marsh told me the Price £1350 + VAT And Finaly I got hold of Stunning Services they don't use CDS but use Red Label (I think that's what they said) and the price is £800 ish fitted. So it looks like it's going to be between North, Whitbread & Stunning. Stunning are the More local for Me but North are the Only one of the three that use CDS Does anybody have some close up pics of the Stunning Rollcages ? Thanks Lyndon C
