1. After it has been run and stood over night pull the plugs out to see if any have gone rusty. If they are numbers 1,2,7,8 could be head gasket or cracked block / slipped liner. If either numbers 3,4,5,6 are rusty its definately the cracked block / slipped liner, as there is no water running around the heads on these cylinders. I had a 4.6 range rover and it just went with no warning, same as yours travel 2 miles and it boiled. I got through 2 engines with this. Good luck Mark
 2. I have had this exact problem. Remove the card panel from under the glove box and you will see the heater motor. Remove the 3 screws and unplug the cable and the motor will come out. You will probly find leaves in there, and as the fan spins they stick to the one side and throw it off balance. While i had mine out i stripped the motor out of its case and greased the bearings, now its silent on full power. Hope this helps Mark
 3. I got one of these endoscopes from maplins http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=257206 Very usefull Mark
 4.
I had 2 engines go through liner slip, both on number 3 cylinder. Removing the plugs after standing over night can show up a problem on cylinders 3,4,5,and 6 as if they are rusty then there is a problem. There is no water in the head by these cylinders so the only way they can rust is by moisture rising from the sides of the liners and not the head gasket. Cylinders 1,2,7 and 8 do have water in the head so it can be either. The only real way to be certain is to have the block pressure tested. Another cause for your symptoms could also be from your lpg system. Where the water and lpg is seperated in the vapouriser can corrode, and the lpg can enter the water system causing the same symptoms as an air lock. You wont smell the lpg in the water as the smell is neutralised by the antifreeze. It is not so common but i have seen it happen twice now, so if your vapouriser is old it could need checking out.
Good luck.
Mark

 5. I also have a rovacom, i got it for my p38 then changed the license when i got the D2. Its a great bit of kit and does everything, also good technical forum. But it is locked to the chassis number, so can only be used on my car. To add another car i have to purchase another license, and they arnt cheap. Mark

 9. Hi The fuel map for a 4.0 engine and a 4.6 are slightly diffrent, but both maps are held in the ecu. This can be altered through test book, not sure if it can be done through nanocom or hawkeye , but i would have thought so. Mark
