  1. Hi Phil, i'm no expert by any means but it might be a core plug weeping maybe during the very cold snap we had, is your coolant up to strengh?
  2. yeah i like clean simple lines myself but im a bit of a magpie when it comes to shiny bits im afraid, hence the harley!!
  3. no not my shop,im not selling these items, i just bought them, thought some of you might like to dress up the dash a bit, no harm intended.
  4. Ahh thats narrowed it down a bit, thanks for that, tape and wire cutters next then.
  5. HI all, thought you might be interested in these little beauties, i have just bought these brushed stainless steel defender dash trims for £20 incl. p&p. an absolute dream to fit and they look "oh my god what a difference!!" Type in Allerton_fords in your web browser and it takes you to their ebay shop, well worth a look.
  6. Hi all, just been given an older cd/radio player with multi block connectors and 2 dozens wires for christ knows what! the radio cassette on my 1989 "90" only has one small connector block with 4 or so wires in it,do you think its possible to wire the cd/radio with so few wires and make it work, is that a daft question ?
  7. Hi, just reading your topic with interest, i have mounted my spare on the bonnet of my 90 only cos the mounts were already there, its a 235/70/16 so quite heavy but does'nt obstruct my view, my only problem is it takes two people to open the bonnet, one pulling the release handle and one up front to make the bonnet release. is this normal for for this kind of mount? cheers.
  8. fair point, birthday coming up soon, cheers
  9. Hi there, Happy new year to you all, I fitted my new halogen headlights today and got busy with the WD40 then went to tackle the slow wipers on my 1989 90, but where is the motor etc hidden ? is it a big job to get to it.
  10. thats very interesting about those relays, my 1989 90 dos'nt have intermittent wipers, will this fix that?
  11. hi cackshifter, thanks for the advise,it sounds more and more like a winter thing. the company i work for supply an ep000 grease that you can literally pour out of the can, might be worth a go.
  12. great, thanks for that, i will give that a go.
  13. thanks for that, i feel a bit more confident now, cheers.
