  1. freely Thank you all. The fault was a seized cailiper & the pistons were NOT able to move yet alone freely & yes I did buy a britpart rebuild kit & yes your right the don't fit the outer end seals snap get bent or just DO NOT work. (What a waste of money & time & effort) any 1 going down this route of the rebuild kit Trust me it's rubbish & as I said a waste of money time & efffort. (Britpart you need to try them out for ur selfs)

  3. Hi Pepe's Can any 1 HELP. my range rover has started to swerve to the left side very badly when I need to brake hard. the front goes to the left & the rear end goes as well & I do not know how to cure it. So if any 1 has any clues or ideas to cure this fault I would be very Grateful.

  5. Can any one HELP. I have a range rover with a factory fitted VM engine. on road it goes very well off road BUT off road the engine won't pull the skin off a rice pudding. I have changed the fuel lift pump with a new original one. I changed the fuel filter. fitted new pipe work from tank to lift pump & now I am @ a loss & am calling on the more experience off roaders for help. THANKS.

  8. Today I went to West Harptree for the AWDC 4x4 challenge. Their was only 15 motors their which was a bit of a shame BUT. the reason for this post is to ask the guy's & girls about the use of hydraulic suspension. their was about 8 or maybe 9 vehicles with this set up on & none had springs just these shocks, How do they work What is the pro's & con's of these May be thinking of these also what sort of money are they to buy ????????????

  10. L@@ked @ all the pipe work from the tank right to the fuel pipe & could not find any holes leaks OR crush marks & now I am @ a total loss. Come on guys help me out.
  11. I need help. I have a annoying flat spot in the ruining of my defender 90 (which has a Disco engine & box ) this happens when you start up & then rev up it's very slow to rev @ start up & when reving down it nearly stalls then picks up again. New bits fitted so far are fuel filter,new diaphragm in main fuel pump, New lift pump & new pipe work. Now I am at a lost as to where to look or what to fit if any thing to replace come on guy's & girls help me out.
  12. would having to thick an oil make my engine run rough on idel as I have been told that this is causing my flat spot on tick over ??????????? any ideas pep's.

Can any 1 help me with this fault When I start my 200tdi disco engine up there seems to be a fault(in my opinion) It start's first time every time BUT once started & rev'd on coming back down the rev's to tick over the engine nearly die's then pick's up to normal.this fault was their from the start but it is *eeing me right off now. their was a non return v/v on just pass the fuel filter on the bulkhead took that off made no differents,Put a new filter on No differents,replaced the fuel pipe & still nothing SO i am now @ a lost. Please help.
  14. My rebuilt defender, Has a Disco 200tdi in it & has a fault I cannot sort & I need help. On start up I rev it to bring the engine to life BUT when I stop & take my foot off the accelerator the engine seems to die & then pick back up.It had a non return valve on the fuel line which I took off, I replaced the fuel lift pump & have checked for fuel leaks which their is none so I am @ a lost now what to check or replace. Come on Guy's & girls HELP ME OUT. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE.
  15. You could always do what I did & that was to buy a truck with this Mod all ready carried out. (what a Blessing)
  16. more likely to be the G/box than the diff.
  17. it would have been easyer to fit a split charge system in would'nt have it?????????
