  1. You could always splice a wire into the + of the front right indicator and feed it all the way back to the rear right, then it would work and save opening up the wiring loom etc.
  2. I have 4 litres of 2-stroke oil ( left over from microlighting )... so I stick 250ml in each full tank load...have to say, engine seems quieter and tad smoother...so I'll be sticking with it
  3. You've done a lot of work there ! I know what you mean about the calliper bolts ( whizzed them all off mine - have RRC axle on the back and cleaned them up but ALL of them were a right bugger to get moving ! ) Did my passenger side swivel ball but mine didn't have raliko bush ( mines a 1989 pedegree ) just the later top and bottom bearings....and the older shims matched the new bearings admirably ! I re-filled with 1-shot grease. My 265 tyres were just touching ( strangely on left hand full lock only ) and solved that with 35mm wheel spacers as lock stops weren't long enough ! Yours will be fine after rebuilding both ends ( feckin' unlucky if it isn't that !!! )
  4. Halfrauds diesel oil isn't on offer though :-(
  5. Bastid must have had two of 'em for sale ! I've probably got all your parts and you've got mine !
  6. Bugger...just fitted a BP offside swivel yesterday ( didn't use their seals though . Hopefully the new swivel ( £66 from BP ) will last a weekend, maybe two, if I'm lucky !!!! Does worry me though.
  7. I too bought the smaller one ( for the motorbikes ) and it is very well made indeed. Do tell us how much you get the larger one for on a trade card..may be interested myself ( just take it to the till for a quote on your trade card, that's what I normally do with Halfrauds goods ) :-)
  8. I had the same issue and called the DVLA up; I found them very helpful and very proffesional. All sorted.
  9. I can hardly see ( plus already have one duff bulb ) the dash lights on my defender temp/fuel/speedo etc., Is there a brighter bulb that can be purchased..plug n play? Thanks ( tried a search but no joy )
  10. No need to weld. Buy a small tube of metal PUTTY...clean the area with brake cleaner or white spiriit and push in..sets as hard as you'll ever need...only a fiver from Halfrauds :-)
  11. Thanks guys, last post is the way forwards for me :-)
  12. Hi, I have a 200TDi and need to renew the anti freeze . Apart from draining/removing a hose etc underneath..is there another easier/simpler method of removing some water and topping up with anti freeze ( maybe syphoning etc ). Dodgy knee at the moment stops me crawling about on the floor !!! Thanks
  13. You've probably parked facing uphill, turn it around and all will be correct again. My spanners have turned a lovely brown colour, they absorb any excess moisture.
