hi all, been driving my defender for a few weeks now, and last few days if left sit for 2 days, she is troublesome to start. anyways, was going out this morning, started fine, drove 10 miles, then stopped for 5 minutes, switched motor off, and now it wont start, nor will it bump start. ive had a little inspection, bled through the filter, then removed fuel pipe from furthest forward injector, cranked engine and there is no fuel there, but there is fuel coming out the top of the filter when i bleed system. i have found a tiny pin prick on the spill pipe(the rubber one, not the one between each injector) but even when i cover this, bleed through, and try to start, i cant get nothing. could this be the immobiliser causing this? if so, is there a way to byass this to prove its not the problem. thanks in advance.

hey, im new, just bought a defender 90 county sw. its a 200tdi on 171k anyays, when i pull off, there is a rumbling noise, it gets a bit louder as the revs increase untill either it goes away, or the revs overpower the rumbling noise. ive been told the half shaft seal is leaking, and have a new on order, so the previous owner has been topping up the diff oil every few weeks. would low level diff oil cause this? or is it something else? when i rev it out of gear, the noise is gone. it makes the noise when the diff/4wd is engaged also. thanks in advance.
