Alternative Routes On foot follow clearly signed route through the Nant yr Arian site. In vehicles follow A44 to Ponterwyd, then follow first unclassified road heading north from the village towards Dinas Reservoir. The proposed order will continue in force until the works are completed. It is intended that the works will commence on the 1st October 2013. Where appropriate temporary traffic regulation orders may continue in force for a period not exceeding six months; this can be extended by applying to the Welsh Government. Yep, that would work fine, make sure your cable is suitably rated, I'd say 2.5mm for the 16A and 6mm for the 32amp. The C type breakers have a higher tolerance to large inrush currents such as motors compared to the B type.

Update on Bomber Lane ORPA, nr. Barmouth. "Highways have agreed arrangements with the landowner to move the material, and placed an order for the work to be carried out. The contractors involved are completing drainage works on the Trunk Road at the minute and as soon as they are available (possibly as early as next week), they will be commencing the clearance work. There are about 200 tonnes to be removed but as it was somewhat liquid, they have had to wait for the material to dry out to render it reasonably handle-able"

Please see below some news from Derbyshire County Council Rights of Way department. From Wednesday 11 July there will be limited access to the byway open to all traffic (BOAT) route at Long Causeway, Stanage Edge. The width of the route is being restricted by Derbyshire County Council to prevent further damage to a retaining wall. Vehicles over 1.5 metres wide will not be able to use the route, between Dennis Knoll in Derbyshire and Redmires Reservoirs in Sheffield, until 10 January 2013. Barriers will be erected at each end of the route to control access. The council will be carrying out a survey to assess the condition of the wall.

Done it on a two post ramp with wood between the ramp arms under the sills - sills were a bit crunchy tho! Lifted off ok that way.

Great write up and pics. I wouldn't recommend pulling the headlamp from the ball and sockets - the adjustors are only 'twist-lock' to the headlamp box and if the headlights are of any age the white ball sockets that are screwed to the back of the headlamp can become brittle and easily snap off.

Mine are mounted on the back door, used some 12 core flex and fed it through the rubber grommet between body and door and into the door cavity - it's a bit of a fiddle but got it through in the end. I think, from memory, I doubled up on the negative feeds for the lights although you could probably pick a side light pos & neg up locally from the number plate lights. Only pic I could find was from when we resprayed her after the 'rebuild' - the sockets are the white circles covered in masking tape! One thing I did find was that some trailers didn't have enough slack to reach so I made up a pair of extensions about 1m long for the 12N & 12S.

The seats are anchored at the front edge through brackets that will be on the seats themselves. The uprights are retained by brackets with push buttons to release them - one per side, mounted to the C/D(?) pillar. The seat belts will need the body mounts that bolt through the floor into brackets on the big tubular section at the rear between the chassis rails. Then there's all the trim with the holes in for seat belts... Disco/RR rear seats are interchangeable if you want the extra arm rests.

It needs to be on it's own dedicated 32amp fuse/breaker at the consumer unit, cabled direct to the socket with no other devices (other than a local isolator) in the line. Cable size minimum 4mm² but if it was me I'd probably do it in 6mm² - I'm assuming it's single phase wired in twin & earth? The problem with splicing it into a 2.5mm² ring is the cable is only rated at 27amps (assuming no correction factors apply) so depending on the location of the socket on the ring all that current could be flowing down one leg making the cable rather warm and drastically reducing the life and affecting the insulation possibly. YMMV...

Could definitely be a possibility, remotely started you'd want some way of keeping the vehicle reasonably secure so connecting to the central locking would be the easiest way. At a guess I would think theres going to be a signal wire from the remote start unit to the central locking ecu but where would be guesswork without seeing the vehicle. Only clue I can give is the central locking ecu is in the passenger footwell so look for a wire heading that way from the remotestart unit.

Have you got an after market alarm fitted in there somewhere? I have and I have this feature enabled on mine.
